  1. Oh the singer? Clark’s wallabies...indie boy must have.
  2. They were gazelle’s mate. Standard indie boy sneakers
  3. Haha. No there’s very little evidence thank god, probably some in the archives at itv or bbc somewhere. There was a great set of performances from itv on YouTube but the singer took them down as he didn’t like the particular songs anymore. Which really annoys me, and I’d never thought to download them as I didn’t think he would’ve done that. My Mrs at the time took some photos of that day, was nice. there’s a load of audio stuff on cds at my mums.
  4. I was referring to the fact that in 2009 I was living the dream a bit, touring and doing tv/radio stuff. it wasn’t a particular bass, think I was playing a JV Squier and a Jack Casady at the time. it was more that I’m merely a weekend warrior these days...
  5. I’m gonna have ring leak in the morning. Two lots of buffet and lots of beer...
  6. I wasn’t jesting. Every time I talk to him I think it a bit more. 😏
  7. Just like my dad should’ve withdrawn...but no.
  8. In between the a580 and m60. M27 is start of my postcode 😂
  9. I wasn’t sure when I posted this... but... I’ve decided to open it back up as i’ve Got itches to scratch...mainly a bb714 This an animal, but I have a modded 414 which sits closely by my side and I’d never let go. So no matter how much I’d love to keep this, it’s last in first out. one dink on the back, otherwise perfect. just over 9lbs Ive changed the knobs to the typical bb sucked sweetie ones but I have the metal ones too. id entertain bb414 wine red bb714 in lava red (not interested in the black one) no case/gigbag. collection preferred from M27,
  10. I had a book on the origins of boss compact pedals saying certain numbers are considered unlucky in Japanese culture (4/8) etc. my guess is each dot has a cost. Fender made 3rd fret the first dot and they followed suit. If you make 10,000 guitars/basses a month, that cost of ¥1 or whatever soon mounts up.
  11. Talentless is fecking rich from you @bigsmokebass, I had talent before you were a d*ckhead. And that’s been a long, long time.
  12. Centre of the bridge plate (top to bottom). 10mm either side. put masking tape around it and double check before drilling.
  13. Hasn’t always been kept off. Always hit 14/14.5 and sort myself out. Need to be 12.5 but...beer.
  14. And I’m not that fat actually. 13.5 stone which is 3 stone lighter than 2010.
  15. I meant to put ‘career’ in inverted commas. Hahah. I suppose I could still “make it”. The record industry is booming, right...
  16. Nah. It’s all just trying to achieve a dream I was close to 10 years ago. And now I’m nearly 35, married, career and kids... if buying basses meant you’d make it...I’d be the equivalent of Elvis Presley. As it stands I’m a fat Sir Richard Head III who’s owned a lot of basses.
  17. 22 years playing and 1000’s of basses owned...passive works for me. Active...I’m always...looking for something which doesn’t need to be found.
