  1. I just don’t get it. There are lots of dark colours. they need a good surf green or metallic orange 😂
  2. Update... we’ve raised about £3200 so far. Iris is doing well, lots and lots (and lots) of appointments. But tonight...
  3. I had a self build p/j with a limelight neck. It was lovely... so, you know...you don’t need it 😉
  4. Yeah that needs to live with me 😳
  5. So have I, that’s why we’ve got 4 kids 😉
  6. Did once. To get married. The lady in question bought it back, hence why I married her...
  7. It certainly does. One of One...8lbs...just...magic.
  8. Yeah. In saying that...it was a journey to get this back
  9. Awful people. looking through my Instagram, apparently I sold this to get a custom shop jazz which I swapped for a Sandberg and a stingray... stupid. See.
  10. I bought a custom shop 55 precision relic, imagine Sting’s #1 bass (actually an exact replica made for a trade show). I’d agonised over commissioning a CS or a Bravewood - it was the most beautiful thing (to me). And I sold it within about 2 months. I don’t know what’s wrong with me really, why I didn’t keep it I can’t recall. I just didn’t give it a chance. Did the same with a Yamaha TRB 5pII. Stupidity is my reason for moving gear, seeking the holy (none existent) grail of bass, like a slightly overweight and uglier Indiana Jones...
  11. Not quite - this is the late 90’s bbg5s or bbn5a or whatever they called it. Its got a smaller body than the traditional BB basses - they’re ok, I had a 4 string in the same finish. Theyre well made and balance well. They’re just a bit bland. But for £150, a very respectable bass.
  12. Yeah, no idea why I like that. Bet it’s not cheap...
  13. Two of these and that head...that’s what I was going on about in the eBay thread. bluddeh ‘ell.
  14. Righto... I got these 2 years ago to replace some old Sony headphones. They're lovely and comfortable, they sound ace. They’ve received many favourable reviews and plaudits. Obviously they’re linked to the Ashdown bass amps company. Noice cancelling, flat or eq modes are on offer. To use the eq/Noise cancellation you have to charge them up as with other headphones of this type. They were £300 when released, and have now moved to a Bluetooth version for £300, some sets of pink/white are still listed at £200. I’ve used these about 20 times in 2 years as I haven’t had much time. they come in a nice case and with cables/adapters. In the original box, not 1000% sure I have every cable tie and bag it came with. But 1000% sure I have everything they actually need. Will ship in UK for £5, or you’re welcome to collect from M27. £75, not the £150 on listing (I do wish that could be edited) been reliably informed that there are some “new/refurbished” sets on eBay for £150 so...£75
  15. Think that’s a language barrier thing.
  16. I’ve asked what the Warmoth connection is.
  17. Hnnnnnggggh 😳😳😳😫🤪🧐😟🥺😩🤤
