  1. And @Al Krow this is up for sale in Liverpool.
  2. He’s a tasty player. Love the Dreamcar one, mithered him on Instagram for a bit about it - it’s in his house and doesn’t come out often.
  3. Back on topic then chaps? Tony Kanal (one of my faves) has been playing one or two odd BB’s Turns out Yamaha renovate and modify old ones for him...weird, they could just make new...
  4. Been called worse
  5. Interesting that it’s Taiwanese, I’ve seen a few on ishibashi etc always assumed Japanese
  6. Hahaha “93/94” ( @TheGreek finds a link to a 1993 bass) there you go
  7. in all honesty though, it’s a 90’s bass. About 93/94
  8. Yeah. These are nice, they crop up mostly in japan - think they were a domestic model. looks great!
  9. Will the excitement never end?! Bridge is on. Don’t ask about the black screws...so mundane is the story I cannot even be bothered...in a side note, chrome screws on the pickup now...as it should be.
  10. I know. I think it’s a sign. After all of this, my preferred dremmel attachment for cutting which was missing yesterday (and why I opted to hand cut which I’m certain lead to the breakage...) just magically appeared in a box of parts. so. It’s being left as it is. in other news. Bridge and Machine heads arrived.
  11. Even Billy Sheehan is laughing 🙄
  12. Yeah, I have - thank god. Bought in 2011 as a treat to myself for a messy breakup. Sold in 2013 to get married to childhood sweetheart. Who bought it back for me in 2017. A very special CS 1 of 1 (weird neck profile) 64 jazz bass relic.
  13. Yeah, realistically it was bound to happen. There’s only about 4mm of plastic left over when making the rebate for the pickup. it snapped on the last cut. Serendipitously, within a gnats chuff of where the original basses pickguard is snapped. so...I’m going to leave it as is. And maybe I will age things up a bit more.
  14. Well. Now I know how it happened at least. debating just leaving it like it is. semi replica.
  15. Just gonna leave this here (while I cry into a beer)
  16. You spoke too soon.
  17. Well, that’s that bit. Now the pickguard.
  18. Not much time today. Got a headstart on the control cavity extension.
  19. I’d love one, would have to wear it Entwistle style high up though 🤦🏻‍♂️
  20. I love it. I think a two pickup in Pelham or Inverness green...phwoar.
  21. Did some clever business with @KiOgon to help... the artec is listed as 27.9k, Seymour Duncan Hot for P is 22.9k.
  22. Cool, that was my plan.
  23. Which tool/end for the dremmel? @Geek99 i have a hole to cut in a pickguard tomorrow
  24. Ah to dream...not sure this will be here when i’m Saved back up. lovely. Absolutely lovely.
