    It’s one of the non export Japan p basses, their equivalent of the Mexican standard stuff, they come up a fair bit. not a Squier Indonesian neck although I get why people have said it. neck off, model number will be on the heel or the neck pocket 👍🏼

    The last 3 - schaller bridge off a Yamaha, P pickup from a Yamaha, and the wife bass had a 70’s Yamaha body. rest easy 🤗

    Only recently got this - have always wanted one, but again I have to admit that short/medium scale basses are not for me. The gutting thing is, it’s gorgeous, very playable action wise and very light. Will come with Flats and a brand new set of d’addario rounds in a box. Looking for trades... Predictably, Yamaha BB’s fit the bill for me...but deffo 34” 4 string basses. show me what you’ve got though - not currently in a position to add much.

    New d’addario’s too 😂 there’s a lot more bottom end on the recording, the phone picked up a lot more of the “clack” in the room.

    414 was used for the scratch bass in the guiding - but since I changed the bridge from schaller to Wilkinson I haven’t had chance to do a proper setup and it was a bit buzzy on a higher run. Rather than whip out the tool kit I just deferred to the 614.
