    Hmm. The original status/trace t-bass was more fender esque than I remember. hides all that gubbins round the back.

    There’s nothing wrong with that - it’s a stunner. want a nice dark tort on it.

    It’s clear acrylic with the image underneath (bonded, not like a crappy insert). But it gives you chance to decide at 1/3 the cost.

    @TimAl could do one which looks like carbon fibre. It won’t be anywhere near as expensive as CF and then if you don’t like it, you’ve not wasted vast amounts of cash?

    I find it loveable, different for sure but not bad. looks well made, reckon it’d sound great.

    Hmm. i really liked it when I saw it. I’d like to think the “parts/not working” is an error. these have been their demo stock - seem to think that P is a one off too. Made in the Czech Republic. something rings a bell that they were built in the same place as the euro Spector basses.

    Steels do. Nickels are blue. Both are vile. My jazz bass has the nickels on as the shop I passed only had the gauge I like in roto. they were dead within a week of being on the bass.
