  1. Bloody loved the look of these when they came out. They ooze quality. I don’t think I have the money, which is a shame...looks great though.
  2. Not great - one went for £300 in January (which was a bargain) but this is borderline rip off. I would happily pay £500, but £700+ you’re heading towards a used attitude limited...
  3. I’d say 350 with an extra hole drilled. I’ll have that ☺️
  4. It’s my extra fingers I use to count.
  5. Yeah, Pete from Elbow uses them too. I had one in about 2007-2010, really lovely.
  6. Was in a band who were bigger in America. He also is a bit of a session legend. He’s on Electric Ladyland by Hendrix and other stuff - big on the hippie 60’s stuff. He did a nice solo album too with quite lovely songs on it. I’m sure he’s done lots more than that.
  7. I’m not the biggest fan of these new ones Mick, I’m happy to remain a 414/1024x fanboy.
  8. Ooh. That’s...different
  9. To be quite frank...this is ridiculous and at £400 means you’d have £100 for a nice hat or something...

  11. This is my late night viewing
  12. BB and @Ashdown Engineering Seems we have similar tastes
  13. Don’t tell me that, I’ll be after it 😂 might be a 350f body
  14. Looks like a later 80’s/early 90’s model? love the chrome surround Mod on it!

  16. No need to change the pickups on a 300, mine is lush, great bass. Did a sit down comparison with a 1983 precision a few weeks ago. The BB was loads nicer, just worth 1/4 of the fender. Weird.
  17. Haha. Currently 4, to soon be 3 and then back to 4... love that the yardstick of yamaha ownership is measured in units of “Trav”
  18. Gawd blimey, the 300 is up for sale...been offered an ideal attitude bass so need apace/funds.
  19. I’ve still not decided on this one, but I’ve had 8 BB’s through the doors in the last 6 months and this was the one I swore was here to stay as it’s a carbon copy of my first ever bass. It’s a 1984 model in metallic red, some age related marks, but nothing devastating, is in unbelievable nick for its age. it came to me missing a machine head and one not working properly so I sorted an original 1980’s Yamaha Cam set, which look like they’ve lived on the bass since day one. its gorgeous sounding (I have a short clip I’ll upload). It’s a little over 9lbs, and plays superbly. I have a 1024x and 414 which do a very similar job, and I’ve got a thing for Attitude basses - one has just arrived and another much more expensive one is in the offing so, I need to lighten the load. Included is a bit of a prototype pickguard I was working on with Tim Allen for my 1100s which I modded a little, liked the idea of an LP junior pickguard but on a bass. It’s not drilled or anything. Collection is the best bet as I don’t have a case. I will ship neck off which will cost another £15 on top in the UK. 6AF87B5B-BB9A-4BAC-83BC-A9785EC83E69.mp4
  20. I had an 88 roadie 2a. Didn’t suit the band I was in at the time. It was lovely though.
  21. Going back to Nathan East’s new frame bass 😂
  22. They’re a slightly different shape, and the synonymous BB chrome pickup surrounds?
  23. That will change.
