  1. It’s remarkably similar to my first BB, except Fretless...and that means I’ll have to find some frets for it...
  2. Yeah. Impulsive idiot that I am.
  3. I made a stupid offer on a Yamaha bb350f on eBay and won it. trouble is, I have a Fretless I already don’t use. so who can shove new frets in? And what will I be paying...I know on an unlined bass it’s a dear do, but this has Fretlines...
  4. My mate just said it was across the board. they had the same with the New Mexican stuff
  5. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323568392164 white 5’er in France All seem to be around £450-£500 i’d top out at £400
  6. I’m actually looking for a 4 string now 🤨 (Again - I do have a wanted ad up from the last bout of “I need a groove bass”)
  7. The screw pattern is correct - the construction is not. id suggest this is an aftermarket neck which has been on the body of a bass lyte
  8. Nicest looking bites I’ve seen in a while
  9. The pic shows the offset. as an aside though - and as much as it pains me to say...that’s not a fender neck.
  10. The late had an offset neckplate iirc
  11. One set super Mario brothers Pyjama bottoms, very comfy. Bought for a hospital stay - nice and loose around the gusset. next set Gap 34/32 slim fit jeans in a faded blue. Crotch hugging.
  12. I posted in a similar vein last month. on Monday I meet a new band. hard to tell what can be around the corner
  13. Mine is such a petty reason, I sell them because I play exactly where the pickup sits and dig through the strings - the pole pieces tear my fingers up. I love the feel and sound of them - I literally just need to get a bartolini/Duncan/emg pickup... instead I throw a strop and sell them on. i think my old 94 has just come up for sale 🤦🏻‍♂️
  14. Third stingray today I’ve wanted - would be the 6/7th time I’ve owned one...
  15. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F362498534673 great colour, 98 model, which is the droopier headstock.
  16. I’m sure he had a deeper association with the dargie delight models - I might be wrong. he always seemed to have huge numbers in stock for a small run.
  17. Yeah he’s up the road...and I know his work is ace, still ends up about £50 gutted - the lad who sold me the black one had recently sold a White Pearl one 🙄
  18. Hiya, the dargie delight stuff was limited edition gear and the big al wasn’t produced as much as the other models...so yeah, needle/haystack situation. it might be worth contacting Beaver Felton at Bass Central in the US who might have an idea where to find a used one (one of his regulars may want to shift one on?) best of luck.
  19. The black really sits well on this, and a Pickguard is a must, for me anyhow. had a few quotes to cut a pearl white and they’re all about £50/£60. not that bothered at the minute so fitted the black one from a 2024x
