  1. Was just about to post the same.
  2. The knobs are a different gold plating to the bridge...and the gold bridge is a different type of gold to the body. It’s like one of those tissue holders you see in taxis on holiday.
  3. God that’s pretty. Does @cetera know there’s a Spector for sale?
  4. That control layout is criminal. The gold hardware on a gold bass and the headstock is godawful. the Richard Bona one is sort of ok - the More I look at it...but it misses the spot a bit (the post above about it being half curvy and half pointy...) they won’t sell many.
  5. I enjoyed it on the whole. Good way to highlight what the bass has done for music. I suppose it was a potted history...not bad.
  6. If I hadn’t just sniped another 1100s
  7. I’d find an original for that
  8. And you need a badass on it too, what is this - amateur hour? hopefully there are some cream Dimarzio’s under that cover - everyone knows they’re the best.
  9. They look tarnished. Not even got a brass nut?! Garbage.
  10. Looks broken. Give you a fiver
  11. Yup. Just shared this. Unbelievable
  12. It’s a later model, the “gap” is an adjustment flap rather than 2 like a jb
  13. If they did the guts of that trbx in a bb, in that blue fade...
  14. The Ibanez looks better...🤷🏻‍♂️
  15. Doesn’t Nathan East use one of these a lot in the studio? I’m on a BB spree at the moment, but these intrigue me.
  16. There’s a video of him playing this song on Jools Holland on a Fodera. First time I’d heard of him...it sounds nicer than this Zon. In my opinion 🤔
  17. I was going to say something disgusting then. But my new pants ripped and I got distracted....
  18. Give it time. You know where it is. still trying to figure out who bought @Beedster‘s 2024mx - that’s the next on the list.
  19. Thing is, and no offence to Spector basses (I’ve owned a couple) They’re never going to be a high volume seller - I know they sell a lot of basses compared to say Shuker or even overwater... I think they can expand product lines as much as they like, they can bring out 1000’s of new products...but the core audience won’t grow with that and it’ll be a crapshoot and then they’ll be sold off to someone else who has to rebuild. i remember there being discussion of PRS’ UK distributor taking over WAL. That didn’t happen - and look at the increasing demand and prices for them. A big company like korg will want to expand Spector...
