  1. I must admit to quite liking it though - has a charm.
  2. I think it’s just a bit of an underdeveloped line - almost like the player is chancing ideas. Has strong “The Night” vibes - that has a bit of an all over the show feel. remember when my mate was in a play called “Once Upon a Time at Wigan Casino” or something of that ilk. they had a live band on a platform at the rear - this was one of the tracks.
  3. @MM Stingray 62 Here you go - seeing how I’m retaining mine…this looks Bob on the same.
  4. Looks remarkably familiar… have you been in my living room and nicked mine?! 🤔
  5. They seemed to get some moderate response on the videos I saw… sometimes, with a “tough crowd” - put on a blinding show…not every crowd is going to fawn over you. maybe it was a timely reality check for a moderately popular/successful group who think they’re big time.
  6. Lovely - only thing I have reservations about is the “chopped off” headstock. They look good though.
  7. Hahah - from idea to recorded in 50 minutes. it definitely sounds like it too 🥴🙄😂
  8. thanks, my only “proper” computer is a work one, and they shoot people for using them for anything other than work stuff…
  9. @lurksalot just sent you a PM with link if this helps. the biggest rush job ever - but it’s there or thereabouts. Jazz bass yamaha guitars everything else is virtual instruments https://on.soundcloud.com/nAPwinqL1jYRS2Rv9 can’t copy embed link on phone soz guys
  10. It’s just uploading - if I’ve failed in my mission, no stress
  11. Damn. just sat down to see if I could squeeze in
  12. Not going to get an entry sorted this time round. Ran out of opportunities and got a busy week to finish before I can relax. My playing time has been an hour over the last fortnight. I will be listening and voting though x
  13. Wish I’d bought this from Andy Baxter, just couldn’t stomach the price, which was about £500 more than I’d paid for my 2000’s from a retail shop and £650 more than I’d paid privately for my 1993
  14. It was slightly more aggressive, a bit more alive. the 2000’s one was lovely, more warmth. lucky to have owned 2
  15. Bump. After a chat last night with @lee650 would consider part trade for a white or black Yamaha bb414
  16. Was a great bass that - like a simple stingray type thing. Should’ve bought one when I had access to trade prices
  17. Yeah - an MIJ/MIM “70’s Reissue” limited run
  18. Another great deal - bought a cheeky little Ampeg 50w combo. Mega packing, fast shipping. Legend.
  19. Love the simple look - MM and natural wood! very cool
  20. Stop making me regret the bongo. Can’t believe I’ve made the same mistake twice 😞
  21. Looks handsome that. as you well know, I’m on a “buying no more basses” drive currently 😒
