    A bit of a google around suggests a lot of the vintage reissues have been done like this. Hard to get through all the debate and jibber jabber on the topic. A lot of mention that the clear coat is the Nitro?

    Think these primal artist ones were made in the same Czech factory Euro Spectors are made in. Was offered a natural Burl 4 a few years ago - hesitated and missed out. I liked them - never seemed to take off upon launch which is a shame.

    Someone could absolutely not make their mind up when designing that thing. I ordered one for a customer once…I didn’t “get it” then, still don’t now. Peavey did something called a Void or something around the same time. Also a pig.

    Already had this up. In an ampless situation so going to build a pot towards a new amp set up. It’s a beauty so if I come into some unexpected cash I will withdraw. solid spruce top piezo condenser mic you can blend in hiscox case can ship - will be about £20 as the case is bulky. Andy

    I play at a level at home where it builds up tougher skin. With not rehearsing or gigging much at the moment, I’m actually playing less and less. But at a recent jam night I got giddy and played way too hard. Ended up with blood blisters on my plucking fingers… Idiot move.

    I do stuff to basses to suit me… My favourite Mod is the Yamaha Angled Attitude bridge I found for £15 on Marketplace… Took a bit of messing to get on my 414… Still on the lookout for another. I’m also always swapping pickguards or adding them where they weren’t…
