  1. Kate (who took the photo) kept on shouting at folk for walking in on the photo. That guy didn’t get the memo.
  2. Yeah. Worth every second of waiting. My absolute world this lady.
  3. Yeah. Nursery. 1987. I bought her a valentines card when I was 6.
  4. I do. you’re talking to a guy who pined for a woman 1987-2000 and married her in 2013. I love a waiting game.
  5. Yeah - we’ll see. Not sure what’s happening with band or musical direction currently. We’ll see. Think the itch of regular gigs (and current bands apparent lack of interest/drive) might lead me to need 5’s. my birthday is in June and I turn 38, I want to be doing more.
  6. Well… Its sat in a case. the SR5 sees more action than I thought it would. and I have an absolute belting 4 in my Yamaha bb1500a (which sounds totally different). After the battle to get it… im not sure what to do.
  7. Lovely thing - I had a fretless version years ago. just sold a P - so I should stop looking 😂
  8. Might seem a bit too common…but goldtop like a Jack Casady? hmm. World is your oyster 😌
  9. think of classic gretsch… Cadillac Green Metallic. Finish the back of the neck too 😜
  10. Aww. Shame, I’m sure you’re better informed of what it needed than me - sad to see that dark blue go ☹️
  11. Love that blue one in the aria pic. played the white&gold aria - was a bit underwhelmed. My mate loved it and bought one. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. Well…inevitably buyers regret has sank in. If I were wealthier I’d keep this as it’s lovely. Bought when the vino was flowing…always a key time for bass purchases 🙄 A great example of the 50’s Classic Precision (Now Vintera series). 9lb 7oz. Includes Gig Bag Plays superbly - wearing half rounds, but can be restrung with EB rounds if you’d prefer. Covers are present as is thumb rest. A previous owner has drilled the bridge cover holes - they’re a little off. I’ve checked with the cover present and they would be invisible if you decided to drill it correctly. I am happy to do that FOC if you wanted. Generally Very clean for a 2015 bass. Some minor dinks but nothing shocking at all. Sounds lovely - quite focussed but still very warm. Always thought the burst was the quintessential 57 type P. Anyhow - postage is possible at your risk/cost. £25 in UK (more insured) but I do have a reputation for over packing gear so it takes 2 hours to get into it. Cheers Trav x
  13. What a shame. Clean it, let it live how it is. cool basses these - a lot seem to be mistreated though, much like the SBV samurai basses of the same era. weird. Anyhow - lovely looking thing. would someone with a buffing wheel be able to help?
  14. oh no (looks for thread)
  15. Hi @joeystrange I think you’re right - it’s missing a flap… may have to adjust price accordingly or just withdraw it: well Spotted.
  16. Ah. Hadn’t thought on that. in Dublin airport currently so will report back when home.
  17. Ah. About that… will you be alright keeping the fretted neck on the mk1 when you deliver? so nice of you to do it for the agreed £300
  18. Currently in Co.Meath drinking Guinness, and due to the €8 a pint in the hotel…I haven’t got the £77k to buy a bass. My hangover states that I may have spent that much on the black stuff last night.
  19. And I’m glad I know where it is when I get the BEX itch again 😂
