  1. Now then… I had a nice old Tort guard with the same issue. I took some pictures of the tort, I sent the pictures to @TimAl who made some plugs… they worked a treat - I can’t find any pics…
  2. Bump - offers will do. Collection preferred but I’ve got packing materials to ship.
  3. Aerodyne wasn’t a series until 2000’s Bri - crafted/made in was to to with factories I think…
  4. Yeah that’s the one. the six is now at 2500, obviously nobody wanted it at 2900 🫣
  5. I had one for about 4 seconds in 2009. I arrived home to play it and the ex had quit her job and we had to pay back maternity leave pay…it was a deluxe walnut like this…
  6. Finally. Back in the club. A (not battered) burner. 1993. Looking forward to arrival.
  7. absolutely skilled gents! Wonderful stuff
  8. I’ve really enjoyed this process mate - and your skills will be much appreciated here. might give @Andyjr1515 a break 😂
  9. I spent several years as a guitarist/singer (only playing bass for fun) after being a dedicated bass player for 6/7 years from the beginning. It taught me 2 things. 1 - bass needs to support rather than poke through all the time…I was like an cut price energiser bunny Flea from wish.com when I was a kid… 2 - I much prefer being a bass player
  10. Wow. Yeah. Maaaahn do I regret selling my HPJ
  11. That’s very….erm…brokened 😂 as a point @javi_bassist the machineheads are tension adjustable on the bb414, a little Allen bolt can stiffen them up - they’re actually pretty decent. i changed the bridge on mine for a random Yamaha one which was marked as “ATT-Bridge” in Yamaha packing but was used in the mid 90’s on a few models…
  12. Played this last week. Fab bit of kit. That new pickguard is the nutz in person too.
  13. @lee650is selling a Stingray 5HH, having played it I was pleasantly surprised how far removed from my SR5 in terms of versatility it was. well under budget too.
  14. lovely bass - woody and warm. Here’s a demo I did with it.
  15. I’m on holiday until early September 😉
  16. Aye…I know. this is very much a “if the thing I’m bidding on sells, it’s off sale…” I want a buffer for the possible purchase…I am really enjoying having this back, although I’m still wondering what I’ll apply it to without a rock/60’s (woofer/eb sound) or metal project…(ain’t Gas a beaut?!) Second time I’ve owned this exact bass - literally only listing because I’ve been alerted to a specific bass I’ve been after for years. I also have another BB (Orange in pic) which I will never sell. Lovely bass - plays great, very clean (one chip on headstock which happened between my ownerships 😩). Includes the (often lost/sold) Yamaha BS padded bag which is a delightful bit of kit. Collection preferred, shipping in UK at buyers cost/risk. £25 in UK (and yes, yes…I know I’ll chase it back again at some point)
  17. Not sure what’s gone on - old thread would show in my posts but not this one… either way. £1300 plus shipping or collected (with a free brew chucked in…) bump
  18. Not sure what’s gone on there. anyhow - something Ken smith shaped has arrived in my shopping cart - I haven’t pressed “go” yet - but would like this gone as a buffer. £1300 plus shipping or collected x
