Builders came today - starts September 8th. I’ve offloaded 3 and acquired 1. thats good maths that. and it’s been months. I was getting jittery.

Uhm… 3 things left though…

“groove” - said way more slowly than needed ”jam” - Pronounced “jhhhaaaam” calling instruments “Axe” - bollocks that is. just really cheesy musical chit chat. ”ahh mahhhn, that’s a sweeee-eeet Axe brah; bet you can reeeeeaaallly jhaaam out some sweee-eet grooooves on her…what’s her name?” ”blue epiphone” ”oooft niiice” 🙄😆

There are some hipshots (possibly mini clover) with the same screw pattern as modern mini tuners and hole size…

That’s amazing. only a suggestion… clover/elephant ear tuners… Might just set off the vintage aesthetic a little more…

A1 in Manchester, visited a few times before it changed to Academy of Sound. still ace for a time. died when Sound Control took over and eventually croaked it. I wish I’d had the Bass Centre Manchester when I had a decent job - that was another cool little place. GBBL - because Drew is lovely and it was ridiculously close to my house.

Same with “L@@k” - unbeknownst to some sellers, I’ve actually not bought something I really wanted to buy because they put “L@@k” in their advert. Petty. But it’s seemingly less prevalent these days. So maybe my strategy is working 😆

I use a Marshall Regenerator on the vintage chorus setting- as others mentioned very subtly applied - just adds a dimension like a nice reverb would, but without muddying things up. its not an “always on” effect though. For me.

I’d go again - I’ve done “that’ll do” stuff in the past and regretted it. you’re obviously skilled…maybe get close to the size shape of the rout template and finish off with a file?
