1.
why do you think it's broken ?
I am not expert but to all basses i have and i had in the past was possbile turn the truss road with one of this: http://www.carpimoto.it/images/products/zo.../kr_3602_Z2.jpg the Yamaha which i haveright now has nothing give me the possibility to use one of the instrument above. I have seen other Yamaha RBX models and everyone has the same truss road head the normal one where you can put the instrument in the picture. Tonight i will post a photo so maybe is better because i don't know how to explain... Thanks
 2. Hi to everyone, please I need an help asap if is possible! I have bought 3 days ago a Yamaha rbx200f from a member on this forum and he does not told me that maybe the Truss-road head on the bass was broken. The bass was cheap but I did't knew anything from the ex-owner about this problem, that's for me is not correct at all, Anyway now is too late but I want the same to be sure that the bass is broken and in case try to find another neck which i guess will be an hard thing to do.... This is the bass I have bought and in the red circle there is the part that i think is broken. http://www.schizzechea.it/MM/rbx200fhelp.jpg If somebody has the same bass guitar could be so gentle to make a picture of the part I am interested so i will be able to know 100% if my bass is broken or not? Thank you so much for the help!

 9.
Not sure what the problem is with flats - dont you like the feel or the string tension? Halfs may be the answer like Sean says. Try the D'Addario or Elites.
Thanks for the answers, It's not really a problem with Flat, is only that i like to use my Marcus Miller Jazz Bass even to try slap and staff like that, i have tried it with flat strings and is not the same at all and on it for some exercise i feel not comfortable that's it instead with DR Black Beautier i have on now i feel great. But i whish to find also for my Fender MM some warm strings! My idea for the future is have 2 basses (i have only one now) my Fender MM with some good mellow strings and another bass (I hope a Fender Jazz Bass RE75 with rosewood fretboard where i will put the D'Addario Chromes Flat).
 10. Hi to everyone, please may I know which strings for electric bass has a super mellow sound like the Flatwound strings but not Flatwound? I am looking for some strings which they have a really mellow sound but roundwound! To be honest I am not really interested about the brand but i whish to know more which material can give me the sound that i love. After as a second step i will can think about the brand. I have tried the D'Addario Chormes Flat and 100% are my string i love it but i don't want put flat strings on my Marcus Miller Jazz bass, so I am looking for something closer, if is possible! Thanks all!
