1. That Shuker looks awesome. Would also be niterested in the specs. Shame about the carpet tho Nick
 2.
It might be worth looking into the Aerodyne Jazz, for that mix of P bass and J bass.
+1 I would always choose a Jazz over a precision but thats just me. P's seem to be bit of a one trick pony. Where a Jazz is more versatile. Just try out as many as you can. I know its 2nd hand, but i have spotted This. A Jazz 24 for £275. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Nick
 3. Like others. Deacon is the reason i picked up Bass, and possibly the reason i got into Music as a whole. He knows his stuff when it comes to bass and plays what is needed for the song. I remember years of shutting myself in the living room barely a few years old listening to my parents old Queen Records. Queen is another band that makes me wish i was born 20 years ealier. Nick
 4.
Nice basses. Is the Geddy MIA or MIJ? I was thinking of a MIJ Geddy, bit concerned about lack of punch interesting you commented on it. Can you elaborate? Best
The geddy is a MIJ but with American Vintage p/ups. (as is the Marcus too). The Geddy has plenty of balls to it. I string it with Roto's and have the action very low. Im not trying to copy Geddys sound at all, but i like to have some slight fret buzz. I have the gain on my head quite high too so it distorts slightly and it cuts thru anything a drummer or guitarist can throw at me. With the neck p/up rolled off a touch its nice and punchy. The Marcus is more so. Nick
 5.
Thanks everyone, Really appreciate the advice. Any comments on Geddy Lee or Marcus Miller Jazz basses?
I have a Geddy Lee and a Marcus Miler Jazz. and love them both. The Marcus is fast becoming my #1 bass purely because its so versatile. The finish is simply superb. Neck is nice and slim as with the Geddy. If i had to choose one or the other it would be the Marcus Miller. I'd like to try a Modulus Jazz too at some point. Nick
 6. I voted Fender as i have 2. But i also have a Rickenbacker. See sig Nick
 7. Cant be too far away from my porn!!.. Here is my current set up. I think i have now found the only 3 basses i'll ever need. Altho i think i have said that about every bass i have owned Here Is my Geddy Lee Jazz bass (i do like my Sig models). What more can i say about this awesome bass that everyone doesnt already know. Im thinking about getting a MM pre amp for this. And last but not least. My Rickenbacker 4003. Im not playing this bass as much anymore. But its great to play and with the vintage tone push/pull it is very versatile. On the amp front i use Gallien Krueger. RB700-II with a RBH115. Lets see how long this set up stays with me for. Nick
