1. Custom Luthier build. (Oh, relax, it cost me the same as a Stingray would here in this country..) Listerud Custom explorer: But my other basses are Fenders, but the Listerud see most of the work.
2. I am also accepting offers for it, so give me your best shot! Great bass! Reasons for sale is that i miss my Old Trace Elliot combo and a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass i used to own, so this one and the amp have to go
3.
It's a pity they don't offer a maple neck option on these 70's models. Terrible thing GAS.
What are you on about? They do offer that, infact i used to own one myself.. though they only is offered as Ash Natural.
4. NICE! just... NICE! One day i will have one like that, good luck with your sale. i guess you dont want a Hughes & Kettner amp in trade?
5. and that means.......? Anyone intrested, send me a PM.
6. Im selling my fretless 6 string maestro bass. This is a very nice bass, bolt on, unlined, decent sound, low output, passive. There is a slight problem on one of the pots, as its not conected properly, so the tone controll on one of the pickups doesent work, and if its turned to max, it cuts the sound. i think this could be fixed by making the caps the same. (they are different becouse i couldnt get hold on more than one when i changed the pots, so one is original to the bass.) The controll cavity is properly shielded, Pots are all new (250k), and it doesnt hum. No major deadspots as i have noticed. it got some marks around the end with the jack. Bass: 299£ Shipping to UK or Europe: 1£
7. Gonna sell it locally.
8. Right now im Gasing for: Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. Line 6 Bass POD XT Live (Not a Bass, i know..) And as always i have the Status Graphite Buzzard 1 on my wish list.
9. My doesnt seem that big anymore Own now: Listerud "Spyder lookalike" Explorer: in the memory of John Thunder Fingers Entwistle, great sound! exelent bass, and it looks stunning! Fender 70's P bass: Great bass, love the sound, love the feel. enough said! Maestro fretless 6 stringer i wanted to learn fretless and 6 string, and its always nice with a 6 string and a fretless, so i found a cheapo on Ebay (great Bass BTW, i wouldnt have expected this for the price at ALL..) It gonna get new pickups and electronics when i can afford it, also a proper setup when the new strings come.. (i found a 6 string set of Rotosound Flatwounds ) Have owned: 2005 Warwick Streamer LX 4 Nice Bass, when i got the Listerud i only used it in passive mode with flatwounds and the P pickup, so i decided tolet it go and it was almost a straight trade for My P bass, the money just.. passed through my Paypal account 2002 Warwick Rockbass Corvette 4 Part exchange for the G&L L2000, per say the rockbass never realy was my bass, straight inn and out again. G&L L2000 Natural Exelent bass! Went becouse of my Listerud, would buy again, but then not in boring Ash Natural (Blueburst it will be if i buy again.. ) Ibanez Roadster RS900TV Nice Bass, wouldnt buy one again though, was only bought becouse Phil Lynott Used one. Status Eclipse Series 1, 5 string The build quality was great, Sustain that never would die, im not sure what i thought about the tone, and i didnt like to play a 5 string as "main bass", they dont feel all that comfortable to me.. maby it was the wide Status 5 strings.. Fender Japan Precision 70's Reissue Nice Bass, i would have missed it, but now i have the "real thing" Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass The only one i truly miss, a great bass and i will get a new one sometime soon. (gonna be a "project bass" as im gonna change alot of stuff on it) Jackson KBX (Kelly Bass X) Dont wanna talk about it, didnt realy like it or its tone... Louder Jazz Bass Copy My first, actually a quite good beginner bass IMO, it took the place of the KBX bass after a while.
10. These cheapo basses aint good for me, becouse i would love to buy em to clean up and make playable Id seriously buy the Hondo/shaftsbury bass if i didnt knew that i have to spend my money otherwise..
11. The Explorer shaped bass is a Listerud custom bass. i got it made as a Entwistle tribute. I expect it to be the only one in the world The Fretless is a cheapo Maestro fretless i bought on ebay, it is VERY nice for what i paid for it, great bass.
12. New pictures further down the thread
13. When i think over it, what might have been a "quality slip" on my P bass is the way to big neck pocket, nothing a couple of picks and other stuff can fix though..
14. Hmm.. Made By Status Graphite Based on the buzzard bass, but being explorer shaped instead, so Warwick wont be jumping of their nuts, and with a flame maple top.
15. I must say my P bass (wich, by serial and logo is a 75, but by neck stamp says it is a 77) is a solid and very good, and working bass. i dont realy have any quality issues with it. But again, as its rumored, these "J.Torres" basses and guitars seems to have a higher status than thoose marked by other controllers..
