  1. Any one tried GK Neo's ? maybe a 4x12 would work
  2. Thanks Jim , it seems they are really good bang for buck and I found a company selling new for under £80 including postage - I may have to go shopping
  3. I don't own one yet I was wondering if the line selector could be used as a 50/50 mix with an effect ?
  4. Hi, Does anyone know if the Compressors on the MS-60B have a wet/dry blend ? thanks

    EQ pedal

Thanks Al, its my 1st markbass and is great for home use and should be ok for a Acoustic set used as a monitor, the MS-60B looks like a good option

    EQ pedal

Sure , I’ve got a Jeff Berlin Rithimic 5 and a markbasd 802 or a MB800 an extra EQ pedal would give me use of the 3 full pan modes of the bass without any volume changes

Just had a look at the available patches on the ms-60b and it has a 2 band parametric EQ, Does anyone use one of these ?

    EQ pedal

I have stayed away from digital effects following a bad experience with a line 6 bass floor pod but this Zoom ms-60b looks nice , I wonder if it has a variable Q

Looks like I will have to try a few pedals to find a quiet one

    EQ pedal

Thanks Al Krow, I will check out the site, I forgot got to mention that I would change pickup blend mid set and with a EQ I could even out the volume and add in some mids when using both pickups

    EQ pedal

Hi , I am looking at adding a EQ pedal to my set up, the idea is to use it when using the neck and bridge pickups together to add in some lost volume and a little mid, this way I can have 3 distinct sounds - neck, bridge and both without losing my place in the mix, I have spotted the EWS pedals and wondered if anyone else had any low noise recommendations? Thanks
  17. I know how you feel , I have just lost my rehearsal space and my gear has been kicked out into the basement.
  18. A 5 String Bass could be employed
  19. I put this gadget in the basement and this reading is from 20:00 tonight, I don’t have any heating down there yet.
  20. Hi , sorry I forgot to mention that we both work at home.
  21. My Wife , she had a fit and wants her office space back, I don't own that much stuff either. Its unfair and I feel cheated
  22. Unfortunately my Bass Gear has been kicked out of my office and now the only place I have to store the gear is in my basement, The basement is in very good condition and no signs of damp, The question is what is the maximum humidity and minimum temperature that electrical equipment ( amps / pedals ) can be stored at ? Thanks
  23. I saw a Markbass 6x10 floating about somewhere ( maybe fleabay or bumtree )
  24. Hi, how do you find the tension of the TI's ?
  25. Hi All, I was wondering how the La Bella Low tensions sound on a 5 string , I have Labella FL's on my P and they feel tight and would like a little less tension, I have tried Thomastiks and they sounded magic but were a bit too loose for me, Thanks
