1.
I like this idea. Especially if you then show a 10 year old girl picking a Compact up and putting it in the boot of a car. S.P.
Or a 50 year old wimp
 2.
Ello, Sick to the back teeth of fighting with an 8x10, I really love using it but it's just doing my head in. Could anybody suggest a thumpingly loud cab but really small, light and something I can leave the car seats up with, take in the house after a gig, not stub my toes on it in the morning(when I eventually do drag it out of the car!) Any ideas would be just super
I am a 50 year old wimp with a bad back and I can lift my Barefaced compact over my head with one hand (and I do it just because I can) I used to use an Eden 210XLT the compact is significantly louder and goes significantly deeper than my Eden. Add a midget to the mix and I reckon you got a full blown stack that you can pick and run with (maybe its raining ....I dont know) and a bargain at the price (I should have gone into sales) Barefaced Compact

 9.
More info on these newer Pro basses can be found here; http://www.trevorandthea.eclipse.co.uk/history3.html The price this is going for is pretty good - never mind for a Wal, but for an older handmade British bass! It's a tasty example as well.... D.
Thanks for that when I bought it I bought it without knowing anything about Wal it just played better than anything else in the shop by a mile imho. john
 10.
Damn, did I miss Magazine
And I thought I was the only person who had ever heard of them
 11.
Well done. I'm so glad that this lovely bass has gone to a good home.
Not sold yet took it off ebay (hate it) as three basschatters all offered me £1100 they are all mainland europe and are willing to pay shipping so I just have to sort out who gets it. I decided to ask them too make one improved offer each and the highest offer will get it, this is open to anyone else who is interested but be quick please. sh*t I hate this sort of thing home is an emotional warzone and upcoming funeral expenses I'm hoping someone will get my Wal at a price they feel is right and I can sort my cash flow. Hope you all understand thanks john
 12.
Thinking about it John, I'm not exactly sure whether this is a Pro model or a Custom model? It was built in 1987 so that is in the 'Custom' era if you like, but I can't remember what circuitry Wal put in these particular models... Because even a Wal passive bass has some kind of circuitry in it.. Not sure if that's a help to you or not but thought I'd mention it in case it is. Nik
Thanks Nik it was sold to me as a Pro 1 so maybe its on the cusp or maybe the Bass centre new even less than me john
 13.
Bump...can I p/x my 98 bmw 316 touring ???
£1090 + your beemer and we got a deal assuming its taxed and MOT'd of course but thanks for the bump
