I'm thinking of having a dabble with one of these. Has anyone tried the current re-issue and is it any good? Also is the earlier reissue (90s?) better and should I try to find one of the earlier ones. I'm thinking that an original is gonna be quite pricey, and might not sound/play that much better than the reissues? Hmmm

Does such a thing exist? If so,is the whole bass scaled down or just a short neck? How's one sound. Are they more or less valuable than standard. thanks
