After each gig I like to review everything that could be improved on the previous performance and I figure out a plan of how to improve it for the next one. Not just for my playing but the whole band. It seems to work pretty well. There's always fewer and fewer things to improve upon gig on gig. The 3 things to do are: 1. get serious about practice: both technique, just to keep the fingers moving properly, and the tunes, so that you can play them while jumping about on stage like Marty McFly; 2. keep it all in perspective and don't get despondent; 3. try to nail the next gig.

Thumb up, bounce off. I don't do double-thumb and don't see how I'd be able to without following through.

You could always stick your tuner elsewhere in the signal chain. Does the LMK have a tuner out / line out somewhere? That way you'd avoid excessive input if that's the problem and if it's the tuner causing it. EDIT: Just looked it up - it has a tuner out.

We did a gig for a lesbian internet forum meet-up. Tough crowd at the beginning but warmed to us. There was one terrifying point at the end of our second set break when we saw two of them pissed out of their heads on the stage: one behind the kit and one holding the guitarist's Les Paul. We didn't care about the kit (not ours) but we were all on edge until we got the guitar back. Thankfully nothing was damaged but I can't stand pissed punters who think they can touch whatever they like. Chicken wire is the only way!

The problem with your Rumble is that it's a practice amp. An amp in the region of 250-500W is not a bad starting point with a pair of well-built cabs.

Leaving aside the cab's acoustical properties, it's just not very sexy is it?
