1. a Boss OC-2 might be welcome as a trade:)
2. some interesting trades so far, but ....
3. soundfiles: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l8704bw24r5voqy/VsjhE6B9SB PU in parallel, treble 100% boost, lows 50% boost
4. I really tried to like this bass, but I am NOT a MusicMan guy, I just prefer my passive Nordy PJ five strings. Hence I am selling my MusicMan StingRay 5 with a few extras: - Nordstrand MM5.2 pickup (alnico) - Nordstrand 2b-mm preamp + passive treble cut - original pick up (alnico) - original MusicMan preamp w. pickguard - original hard case in good shape - Dunlop strap locks - unopened set of EB Slinky strings The bass is in near perfect shape. It has a tiny scratch beneath the pickguard, which I tried to photograph. No Dings or dents at all!!!! E58 serial number. 4kg / 8,8lbs 1230£ / 1500€
5. I don't seem to find the original ad, but I seem to recall that the preamp might have been changed, or am I completely wrong? Where was it made?
6. The RMI Basswitch is my preamp/routing/switching/DI pedal of choice: it does great in all its functions. PERIOD!
7. I have tried LOTS of preamp pedals and I settled on the RMI Basswitch. It takes care of all my effects routing and switching, has a great DI and it sounds just GREAT. I play passive Nordstrand PJ5 basses, a DJ5 as well, a passive Reverend 5L and an active MM SR5
8. The Basswitch preamp/DI the way to go. I was in a similar situation as you with different basses and a couple of effects and preamps. In the end I tried everything with differend pedal preamps and a looper.... and I went with the Basswitch. Mainly because you have everything in a single unit and it just sounds RIGHT!
9.
if anyone was seriously interested, i'd happily arrange to meet them to look at the pedal(s) / plug it in / test it with their rig.
I don't think anyone is questioning the condition, the wow factor or anything about the pedal itself .....
10. Ohhh! I played mine last night and I am so glad I still have it!!! Get this amp now!
11. The passive JJ is spot on! As for the Hybrid MM, the PU is a bit closer to the bridge, so the sound is a bit different as well.

14.
Hey Gilento, read you from talkbass, still have de SA200+DB212? I have a DB212, amazing pair with sadowsky!!
Sometimes I am using different amps and/or cabs due to convenience or other reasons, but yes, the SA200/db212 is the best combination I ever played.... And being a gear whore, I played a lot!
15. As far as I can see it, they are offering two different 410 cabs: http://ashdownmusic....Valve/15/CL410/ http://ashdownmusic....-410H-Cabinet-/
16.
or there is this. http://www.two-notes...torpedo-vb-101/
in a pedal form: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Two_Notes.html
17. Hi Chris, Actually I haven't got the possibilty to get both in the same room. One of them is at the rehearsal space the other is at home with me. It'll take 3 more weeks before I'll can use them together.
18. I just broke in my second BB2. As Alex is suggesting “regular playing” to break it in, I downloaded a couple of clips from the Lakland basses site, where they are showing their different PU sounds. I made a playlist of approx. 15 minutes which I played for approx. 30 hours with increasing output level. Anyway, here’s alink to that section of the Lakland site. http://www.lakland.com/audio.htm It might help other people too, who do not have the time to break the cabs in with their own playing.
19. great idea with the pots! the original ones are the only thing I do not like about my Xotic pedals. What are yours? I've seen them before, but I do not remember where.....
