1. bright and sparkly....? I haven't heard them in person, but that sounds like the description of Berg AEs you read on forums like this, to me.
2. The NT is a cab on his own! I think it has enough top end for more vinatge oriented sounds. Further, it is a bit lighter than the "tweetered" one.
3. Hi, Does anyone know what's the difference between the original EVO and the EVO II series is? I seem to recall that they increased the gain on the ValveDrive in the EVO II series. Is this true? I am mostly interested in sound difference? Is there any?
4. My vote goes to the MarkBass LMK. The programmable TC RH450 might be your ticket as well.
5. Sold my TC RH450 to Manos. He is a very honest guy and paid immediately upon commiting to the deal. So, I recommend dealing with him without reservation!
6. Sold my Bergantino Hs210 to Roger. He paid immediately upon agreement on price and shipping. Thanks Roger and hope to deal with you again!
7.
... Once I am done with the GS's trial, I'll check out DB's, either 1x12 or 2x10 and maybe Berg HS or AE 10's. If the Markbass sound is similar to SWR, then I can discount that
Well I have a Berg HS 210 for sale....
8.
Not sure what Eden cabs would be like with an SWR head, but I can't imagine there'd be a problem with an Eden head and SWR cabs.. ...
That sounds unbelievabley good! I had a SWT Grand Prix/Eden MBX210/Eden XLT212 for years! But nowadays I am more on MusicMan20's side of sound: Markbass/Aguilar
9. I decided to part with mine after a brief stunt (2 gigs, 1 rehearsal) as I prefer the cleaner sound of my MarkBass SA450 to the TC. As for tube sounds I am still using my big, heavy all tube SA200

12. I used to play SWR for a very long time (Redhead, Grand Prix, ST220, SM500...) Now I really enjoy Markbass. They have a twin channel amp: The LMK. http://www.markbass.it/products.php?lingua...t=1&vedi=68 It has been dicontinued recently, so you might find a good deal on a new one!

14.
I gigged the cab twice with my RH450 and it sounds great. But after having sold my SA410 for a db212 I think I want also my small setup to be Aguilar or Begantino 12". I bought it in late 2009 at bassdirect. The cab is in perfect condition and has the padded Bergantino cover.
Here are some detailed pics: http://gallery.me.com/gillesloes#100049
