2. Got an email from them asking if they want me to send it to them to have a look. How much roughly would it cost to get it to them? posting from the UK
3. Nope, I dont lean it on a radiator or anything like that. On a stand. Have contacted Lakland. So what response I get from them
4.
my advice: don't end up bashing it into the bassdrum at the end of every gig
I only use it in the studio, dont use this one live. Only has to be sitting in the studio, and the truss rod will go out. I use Medium gauge strings. If the truss rod is damaged, is there any way of getting that sorted?
5. Hi all I bought a Lakland off here last year. It constantly needs adjusting because the neck goes out so easily. Does anyone have this problem, and can anything be done? its a 4-94

7. Hi everyone. Finally got my website up www.christiangilbart.com Let me know what you think. And if you know anyone looking for a Songwriter, Producer, or Session Piano/Keys player. Let me know
8. Bought the Lakland off someone on bass world months ago. Ever since Ive had it set up I have had nothing but trouble with it. The neck is constantly bending, and now there is a metallic vibration sound on the A string. Any ideas what the problem is. Or are they renound for going out so much having such thin necks? Christian
9. It is 4.5gb ram people on other forums dont seem to believe me as well. Is it worth bumping it up to 6.5gb ram or would I not really notice a difference? I like to use both headphones and the genelecs for mixing but more the headphones. I know mixing on monitors is the norm but this is the way that works best for me. The headphones are plugged into the Interface - RME Fireface 800. the distorting could be a problem with the headphones but ever since Ive them they seem to be very delicate and not really handle loud volumes. and when I say loud I dont mean stupidly loud. just loud. (if you know what I mean)
I remember hearing you should mix down on the crappest speakers possible. That way if you make it sound decent it will sound phenomenal on decent speakers. It doesn't work the other way round.
10. I currently use the Sennheiser HD600 headphones for mixing, aswell as using the my genelec monitors. The only problem is they tend to distort at a not too high level, especially the bass. Are there any that are as good quality if not better that can perform as good at higher levels. The other question. What exactly is RAM, and will it make my Mac perform better if I upgrade it? its currently 4.5gb RAM Thanks in advance
11. price now £600
12. bump
13. bump
14. Cool Black Beauty it is then
15. recently serviced so mint condition with rack ears £600 email - [email protected]
16. Looks like someone is going to sell me a Black Beauty, and I cant see the Super redhead for sale anywhere so I reckon I will get it. Sold the Eden cabs Just need to sell the WT800 now if anyone is interested? - £650 I didnt get on with the Eden stuff. Just couldnt get the sound I like I,m currently using the singers old SWR workingmans 15 combo which sounds great, so Im pretty sure the BB will do the job.
17. thanks for that very helpfull
18. Which would people recommend between them 2x to use with a Musicman Stingray (3eq)?
19.
Great sound - Stingray and SWR Super Redhead. Not that I have either anymore.
REALLY? thats one of the ones I had my eye on. Wouldnt mind trying it out somewhere but I doubt anywhere will have one in. p.s. I would never go to the Bass Celler They are a miserable bunch of w@nkers that work there
20. Are there any decent Bass shops in London that stock all the high end gear where I could take my bass and try them out?
21.
Might be useful to know whether it will be used in your bedroom or Wembly Stadium as well.
somewhere in between wembley and my bedroom Its for medium to large gigs, money is no object, and im not totally against a seperate amp and cab, its just I have never had the same quality that I had with the warick combo I had. I have had an Eden Rig, Ashdown Rig, probably some others that I cant even remember, and they have never been as nice as the Warwick CCL210. It just didnt have enough power for them bigger gigs. I have thought about getting a 6x10 cab and seperate amp but the cabs generally dont come up on ebay, and I dont think its worth buying geat brand new
22. Whats the best bass combo to get the best out of a Musicman Stingray (3eq) I love that quality, round, punchy bass sound of a musicman and am after a combo that gets the best out of it. Any advice would be great.
