B.[/quote] hahahaha good man :] dont worry about moving into five strings mate ive got a sixer an that was a straight jump from my jazz to the sixer! at first most people find it hard to fit the extra notes into a song but trust me once you get it, its alot more fun hope it goes well for you

i saw these supporting tool at manchester apollo! seriously they did a f***ing great show and a very heavy ending i loved it! great band live, the drummer is so f%#king talented! haha all the best to them

haha the funny thing is, my gear isnt great but some 30 somthing year old guy started giving me sh*t for having a squier bass! i just said, "im sorry i cant afford the best bass in the world, i play bass because i enjoy bass, not because i have a fancy expessive instrument" in time i already know what bass im saving up for anyways, and yes for the matter i am saving up all the money for it GRRR what a gimp

haha thanks hamster mhuk, im not sure after what delbothot said, if i were to d.i.y. it how would i remove the frets? like a chisel or something? because it sounds alot cheaper to do it your self thanks agen guys

haha cheers guy about the value... its in pretty bad condition anyways so im gona have to repaint it (purple or use a dark wood stain on it ) and its an ibanez gsr200 but one of the older versions that only has three tone/pickup/volume controllers an you cant find them any where lol and i brought it for 75 quid as a first bass an i think i could make somethin pretty cool out of it with money because no one would buy it! hahaha wouldnt rubbing oil on the fingerboard affect the strings abit? and good advice on using flats

hmmm ive decided that because my ibanez is sitting round giving me evils i might as well turn it fretless would the rosewood on the neck be ok to use? or would i need to give it a light varnish coat or just replace the whole thing? thank you for any help

OHHHHH very nice ive been checking out the prestige series for some time now (only six string models atm) they seem really great id consider getting one but ive already got plans well hope it treats you well an im sure it compares to my old ibanez (gsr200) but i dont have to play the anymore
