  1. It really depends on what you want from your precision. I personally went for the Nate Mendel as it already had the upgrades I would have made to the bass without paying any extra or having to install. This aside, if you like a lighter bass, or slimmer neck then the NM is something you should consider as it has/is both. If you're not bothered by those features by all accounts the Classic 50's are highly regarded. I've owned the classic 60's and 70's jazzes and they were amongst the best basses I've owned for construction quality.
  2. I could live with it, the missus however..
  3. That looks bloody fantastic, I technically have the money but I would be homeless.
  4. It looks so strange without all the stickers on it! This was my main bass for a couple of years before I moved over to my precision but I do miss it a bit. Difficult to see passed this for the price vs quality.
  5. I appear to have arrived at the party somewhat late.. Ahem.. https://www.facebook.com/skurvi
  6. On hold pending payment.
  7. On hold pending payment.
  8. Reduced to £260.
  9. Added a couple more pictures for the interested parties. Also a picture of the discolouration near the neck joint.
  10. For sale is my Markbass Little Mark II. Has been used as a backup for the past 6 months so not getting much action but in full working condition. Fantastic bit of kit which combines lightweight body with awesome sound quality. 500w at 4ohm so plenty of bang for your buck. Has a number of surface scratches from its former life but nothing which effects the sound. It will come with a carry case included in the price. Whilst this is not the official case it has performed admirably whilst I've used the amp. Happy to post this within the UK but collection is always preferred. Any questions let me know! I'm sure we all know what this looks like but if you'd like some pics let me know.
  11. You could be correct on the pickup front actually, thanks for the heads up.
  12. Money needed resurrection!
  13. For sale is my vintage modified Precision Squier. The bass is in good condition with a couple of minor dings to the body caused by the previous owner but nothing major and no damage to the neck. Pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan SPB-2's which bring an improved richness to the sound to my ears. The bass balances beautifully and weighs in at a respectable 8.5-9lbs. This has been mainly used at home by me as the perfect backup for my Fender P but with Christmas around the corner and with losing my job money is a bit tight so away she goes. This is a great example of why people rate the VM and CV Squiers so highly so is perfect for anyone wanting to try one out. Not looking for trades currently but could probably be persuaded by an Orange bass terror head. Collection as always is desirable but happy to deliver at cost. Will be shipped with gig bag and boxed. Any other questions let me know. [attachment=176464:squier5.jpg] [attachment=176465:squier4.jpg] [attachment=176649:squier3.jpg] [attachment=176650:squier2.jpg] [attachment=176651:squier1.jpg]
