1. Price Drop - £100!
2. Good to see a number of law students knocking around the site.
3. SX basses are great. I upgraded the pickups and bridge on my jazz and its killed my GAS for a new bass dead.. for now.. I guess its back to the quest for a lightweight cab!
4. Willing to part out if any interested parties, £75 for the neck, £35 for the loaded body.
5. Price Drop £110, the neck wouldn't be worth far off this alone.
6. If I sell sure, to be honest if I don't sell it as a whole I may keep the neck for myself!
7. Belatedly added pictures!
8. Looks wonderful!
9. I think the best advice is to go and try some basses out, you may be surprised at what you like best. Some people have stated that neck size is unimportant but I have found along with weight this to be among the most vital aspects for my own playing. As Lozz points out though it can be as much about depth as width. How do you get on with the neck width of your current bass?
10. Thanks for the suggestions, I may have a little investigation.
11. I've recently picked up a Little Mark II which i'm very happy with so far, just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a cab to partner it with? I play in a punk band with a precision bass generally in venues with a 100-300 capacity.
12. Its M Series so some confusion reigns over these models. The most reliable sites date it somewhere between 1989 and 1992 with wikipedia stating that those serials starting with M were high gloss and 40mm nut width which this is.
13. Well I haven't quite got round to the photos yet, please accept a price drop to £120 as a sign of my apologies.
14. For Sale is my Made in Korea Precision bass in black with white pickguard. I bought this as a backup and has done an admirable job in that respect but it is time for something new. Condition wise this thing has taken a bit of a beating, its plywood body has a number of dings and a screw which has replaced the bottom strap pin but the neck is genuinely fantastic. Has a couple of bumps but feels great, and just feels right in the hand. Something I genunely want has come up though and I've been told I must sell before I buy. Any inspections welcome and I can sort delivery if required at a cost. Collection preferred from Brighton. Photos due in the next few hours.
15. Now sold
16. Last chance everyone
17. Hi Chuck, this is still available, you're not too far from me either, fancy a bus trip to Brighton?!
18. Now sold, thanks for the interest
19. I'll drop you a message.
20. Do you have any pics?
21. Best of luck then buddy! Better be quick though, I've had a couple of nibbles..
22. For sale is my Sansamp Tech 21 BDDI box. This is a fantastic little tool for recording and gigging alike with DI capabilities and amp modulation in one handy box. This is in as new condition with all accessories including instruction manual which has settings diagrams on how to emulate other amps and Tech 21 sticker for those so inclined. Really is a great piece of kit and only reason for sale is that I have now upgraded my amp head to one which is lightweight and meets all my sound requirements. Currently listed in GAK for £200, get this for less money and a power lead for free. Happy to post in the UK at buyers expense, collection is always an option from Hove, East Sussex. 23. Here we have a fine example of a Squier 50's classic vibe precision. Recently picked up in a trade I've decided that its actually time to start to trim the herd as I can only play one bass at a time! Good parts: Bass is a fantastic example of why these basses are so highly rated, the construction is top notch and the neck socket fitting is about a good as I've seen. The action is set at medium at the moment with no fret buzz and is a reasonable weight. Bad part: There are a number of dings to the underside of the body inflicted by the previous owner, not even sure how they managed it but this has been photographed for full disclosure. Apart from that damage the rest of the bass is in fantastic condition. If you can find one, these are generally retailing for around £320 online now so a massive saving on those prices. In terms of trades I would probably say no but its always worth a try! Specifically if you have a lightweight cab for sale. Happy to post at buyers expense but collection preferred from Hove, East Sussex, gig bag included either way. If required I can also include a hard case at further cost. 24. These are great basses, build quality is top notch.
25. Well I have now visited the shop and they were very helpful, interestingly the amount of hum varied dependent on which amp I went through. They have agreed to inspect the bass and resolve any issues. Equally strangely I went to band practice today and had no issues with hum.
