1. Some interest but nothing concrete, price reduced to £400.
2. Info bump- For those uninitiated these basses sit nicely between a jazz nut width and a standard precision which was one of my main motivations for seeking out the bass. What actually made me buy it though was the fantastic custom 59 pickup which makes this sound the nuts. However, don't just take my word for it, check out the thread below where people wax lyrical. 3. For sale, my MIM Black Mike Dirnt Precision bass. Bought in early 2011 from GAK in Brighton this bass has served me well for the past year but needs must and this has to go. Anyone who has played one knows they pack a punch and this is certainly no exception. It was chosen from a selection of four choices for its superior tone. The condition is about 9.5, there is a little buckle rash and one small chip to the finish as pictured. Price is [s]£425[/s] £400, trades are a possibility but only for slimmer necked precisions. Delivery can be organised at buyers expense but collection (from Brighton) as always is preferred.
4. Hey, whats the width on the neck?
5. Thank god for that, I've been tempted by this for days!
6. Love the look and sound, pain in the arse to actually play.
7. Any chance of giving the nut a measure?

Fuller sound

Thanks for the responses, I would've considered a programmable Sansamp but I don't really want to get rid of what I have due to the extra money it will cost me to replace. I currently use the Sansamp to create a SVTish sound to the bass and just use as a amp emulator/pre amp. I already have a Big Muff Pi but i'm not sure the fuzzyness is really what I'm after. In my mind I was thinking of a chorus pedal which a few people seem to pointing me towards.

Fuller sound

Hi, I'm looking for a stomp pedal to "thicken" the sound of the bass when my guitarist goes into a solo, anybody got any thoughts as to how I can achieve this? I currently play through a Sansamp BDDI which I have on throughout to create a "valvey" sound but fiddling with the settings half way through a song isn't possible. We play 90's punk but when the guitarist hits the solo the song seems to drop without the chords going though and we don't really want to add another guitarist. Cheers, Liam
10. Weekend bump. PM's replied to.
11. I'm still trying to get the standard solo down let alone the extended version!
12. If they have one of these in at GAK I may go test it tomorrow..
13. Just gave this a weighing for someone, it comes in at just under 9lbs.
14.
Now if you hadn't been an Arsenal supporter........ bump, these are really understated basses.
Leave off, we won yesterday! Bit of a price drop- looking for £400 to get this shifted. Liam
15. Now near offers of £450 will get you this bad boy.
16. Back to work bump.
17. Another gutless Arsenal performance bump.
18. Bump. I don't need to mention that if any of the parts aren't to anyone's taste then you can always sells them on as the original bridge, strap screws and Pickups are included in this. A pair of the same Seymour Duncan pickups recently went on here for £62.50 so provided someone else is interested that basically makes it £380 for this quality bit of kit!
19. Cheers for that, I have to say that its one of the nicest Jazz's I've played, just not suiting what i'm playing. This is indeed still available.
20. Here we have for sale my lovely 2008 MIM Classic Series 70's Jazz. I've had this for about 8 months and bought it off bassface2k10, and have included a link to that advert: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...hl=bassface2k10 The bass is in lovely condition as pictures show in the link with the only visible damage a small nick on the headstock which I will get a picture uploaded of. It has had a few modifications and comes with Seymour Duncan SJB3 Jazz Pickups, a Gotoh 201 bridge, a tortoiseshell pickguard, the fender strap and now Schaller strap locks too. This will also include the original pickups, bridge, fender deluxe case and black pickguard. Given I've added the straplocks i'm looking for what I originally paid for the bass which is £450. I will consider shipping this out at the buyer's expense and happy for anyone to come round and have a try before they buy. Only reason for selling is that it has become rather redundant since my P Bass arrived. Its a little bit sad to see this bass go as it plays so well and I always considered this a keeper but such is the life of a bass! Any further questions let me know. Cheers, Liam NOW SOLD.
21. And promptly replied!
22. Worst time ever for this to come up, when I have no disposable income.
23. I feel very disappointed with the price/quality ratio of this. I didn't expect anything but basswood but stock pickups and bridge at that price? I've always been a big fan of Matt's but I won't be purchasing this. I'm sure this has nothing to do with meeting him last month where he was a complete tool.
24. A weekend begins bump!
25. Another bump and another price drop. These are £500 brand new and this one is going for £330, a bargain basically!
