I've got those TP-Link thingies in the wall plug sockets and (just did a speed test) I'm getting 37mb/ps download and 19mb/ps upload. I've managed to have a go on that Jamulus and it's worked ok. For watching Netflix, zoom calling etc I've had zero issues.
I emailed them directly last night asking if the special offer was still available, and to be fair they sent me a link to download the full version for £17. I shall download it today and have a play tonight

Our Drummer really rates it for its simplicity ( I won't go there..sorry Dad) and it was on offer for £19, don't think it is at the moment but it may come round again.
Anyone got it and if so, what's it like? I hear it's supposed to resemble a more analogue type sound and system.
what I love about this is it's simplicity. Even I can play it on piano and bass and the snare and kick are pretty easy. It's her voice that really carries it.
Yeah I found adding the plug-ins quite complicated. I assume they mean standalone rather than through a DAW?
The other quite important thing to note is that you're not supposed to use WiFi but rather LAN direct into your router from your PC/Mac to avoid latency. TBH I have used wiFi and its been ok if you're near to a router or TP-Link type extension socket, but if you can go direct from PC to router you'll have less problems.
if you go to the app store and download it, it should ask you if you want the older version to suit your operating system ? (High sierra)
Edit, that might not be true, sorry , but have you tried to download from the app store?
Split the whole 45 minute tape into sections (songs/ideas etc) once you've inserted it onto a track in Reaper. Save that as your template. Then delete the sections behind and ahead of the section you want to use or keep. Save that section as "Bass ideas 1" or whatever you want to call it, then render that to you desktop or library as a wav or mp3. You have your first track. Repeat with that original template you saved and do the same for each section you want to save as a separate idea/song etc. There's probably a much quicker way of doing this but I can't think that quickly at the moment. Good Luck!
