  1. these have had some fantastic reviews, Im tempted myself https://www.studiospares.com/Headphones-and-Speakers/Studio-Monitors/Studiospares-SN5A-Active-Studio-Monitor_248060.htm review here https://proaudioblog.co.uk/studiospares-studio-monitor-speakers-listening-tests/
  2. First rehearsal was rough (especially me), second much better as I got such a p1ss taking from the drummer that I made sure to go through the setlist the day before the second rehearsal. It'll come back quickly for you I'm sure..
  3. Spitfire free vst’s are amazing
  4. I'll be giving Tom Misch a miss, saw him last year in Bristol, possibly the dullest gig I've ever been to and I've fallen asleep at a few over the years, only reason I couldn't then was cos it was standing only and I kept getting woken up by some young scallywags pushing into me...
  5. small bike festival confirmed end of september, still going ahead hopefully as all pub gigs still going nowhere..
  6. A touch of the Thin Lizzy with this...
  7. Done!
  8. a 1000 bucks? I'm sure they're great but my DHA VT-2 EQ was £245 and I'll wager there 'aint much difference. https://www.gak.co.uk/en/dave-hall-dha-vt2-twin-eq-std-bass-pre-owned-/903303
  9. hmmm, should work. The routing config may have changed. Might be worth messing about with the input and output settings in Logic to see if that gets it working, but remember your original settings that worked with your 1/4" jack settings. Mono and stereo inputs may have changed now that your using XLR.
  10. that would look even better with a black bridge, GLWTS
  11. yeah ignore me, the record deck does have a phono pre amp so should be fine to connect to the amp, sorry if i've confused things.
  12. just be sure to give the guys at the store a call and make sure that record player will work with that amp. ie the record player has a preamp built in or you may need to order a separate pre-amp as well like this https://www.gear4music.com/Recording-and-Computers/SubZero-Phono-Preamplifier/211K?origin=product-ads&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIz97034ui6gIVw7TtCh2SOAbcEAQYASABEgKypfD_BwE edit, i've just checked and the record deck DOES have a phono pre built in so you're good to go!
  13. stick to the yoga...
  14. what knobs???
  15. That will run Garageband easily and super fast, good luck. Let us know how you get on with it
  16. I still have nightmares about that version...
  17. It's a shame she couldn't be persuaded to go for seperates. £500 could buy you a pretty decent setup of turntable, amp and speakers and the sound would be sooo much better than an all in one unit. That project Juke would be ideal with the speakers at £428 for a quick solution. https://homeavdirect.co.uk/pro-ject-juke-box-e-all-in-one-turntable-q-acoustics-3010-speakers For great service and advice, you can't beat giving richer sounds a call, they'd sort her out a decent setup within budget https://www.richersounds.com/
  18. https://www.thomann.de/gb/marcus_miller_v7_vintage_swamp_ash_4_nt_2.htm jobby done..!
  19. not if they have a stage, we play quite a few pubs with beer gardens or outside seating (lucky for them as we're quite loud). I can and hope to see a situation whereby we play outside , TBH i'd happily play for a big reduced fee just to keep match fit for 2021
  20. completely insane. I Love it!
  21. talent I can only dream about..Brilliant stuff
