1.
Mark is a great guy, I've had lots of deals with him and never had a problem, what was the stingray like?
Ah man the stingray was mint! I was really tempted but a little nervous how tidy it was as im a bit clumsy when gigging, but fabulous neck and a huge variety of tones, but...the 75 P just stood out, by the way I had a go on a couple of sandbergs and they were out of this world, the quality of the parts was astounding.
2.
the P bass looks amazing! what's the bridge pickup?
It was fitted apparently by the origional owner in 1978, origion unknown. Its very bright and punchy, seems good for slap. The small metal switch selector is I think for single coil or the full humbucker, still early days getting to know it!
3. So i went to look at this tonight http://classicandcoo...ngray-bass-4hh/ with every intention of part/ex, buying and actually walked away with this... http://classicandcoo...precision-1975/ What a great guy Mark is, completely helpful and relaxed, no hassle, he's also just been signed up as a Sandberg dealer and has some awesome deals about to go online, so check him out! http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/ I have no affiliation apart from living 5 minutes away and gigging in similar bands, and the wives are in the same book club! Anyway, next task is to sneak this past the commondant!

8. Great review. I recommended these to a friend for their son's Christmas Present and 1st Bass. I think they ordered one and an 80Watt Harley Benton Amp for under £300, think they are very pleased!
9. am playing on vinyl to my 14 year old daughter for the very 1st time, Houses of the Holy!
10. very true, hard to say what the price bracket is though isn't it? I did email him about that rather subtle shade of grey on the wall, Farrow and Ball, Pretty Green or Dulux?

15.
Steve is a famous breaker of speakers, if he says they are bomb proof........
Ha ha only the one!
16. This is a bit of an old topic but I find that depending on the sort of venues you play (ie we play pubs) most landlords, if they can be bothered (and thats a whole other thread) just want to hear a half decent live recording just so they can be reassured you're not totaly sh*te on the night. Polished studio demos are a waste of time IMO for the sort of work we do. I record our gigs with a little zoom H2, then tart them up a bit in Reaper at home. By tart up, I mean a little EQ and compression. These mp3s then go up on facebook etc but could be burned onto CD for the landlords. Top tip - get a printer that also prints onto blank cds then print your band logo on 'em, looks way more professional.Thats it! Oh yes, the copywright bit, forgot, dont worry about it, the PRS wont be the slightest bit interested/organized to do anything.
17. Yep got 3 of them, great mics! Bombproof
18. ive used the VT2 with a power amp (1500W KAM) and its brilliant thanks to the EQ on the pedal It really shines through a tube amp weirdly enough.
