Getting paid to make people happy? Whats not to like?
Sometimes I want to kill the guitard (especially when Im lugging/storing his gear)
but when the punters are cheering for more and I look over at him and the drummer and we all have daft grins on our boats, well, that makes it all worthwhile.

status flats are good value, around £20 I think. Use them on my P but have rounds on the jazz which I prefer when gigging as the zing cuts through better.

Bumping for Ampeg.
Don't let the term 'Micro' throw you off. It's a smaller brother of the classic SVT, 200watts pumped through cabs designed to maximise every one of those watts. Good enough for Tony Levin and dUg Pinnick.
Stack comes with the amp, 210 cab and cables. Classic Ampeg tone in a lighter package.

although its solid state and not valve, right?

Yeah, I know, shocking. Wonder how loud the 50 will go and how many rock guitars it could cut through and how it would fair in pub rock. Imagine releasing a product and not having a video ready!

New Model Army gigs used to have a rep of being violent, but the truth was is was a load of blokes in clogs and tatts doing the goth chicken dance and all very friendly. I was chatting to a girl once who when I told her I was a big NMA fan she decried that the lead singer was a psycho who had booted her brother in the face with his clog and he lost a tooth. That didn't sound like the singer I knew and asked why? Oh, he spat on him she replied.
well, duh!

no vinyl past 82' in this house!
Actually thats not true, got some dodgy stuff of the wifes but the production is awful. Best vinyl to my (one good) ear came out in the 70's (current favourite being "Aja" by Steeley Dan - for production at least)
