  1. Well hopefully sending the post is the first step? Talking about it here or elsewhere is important. Although reading some of the threads on here may not always improve your mental health. 😀 playing wise take it hour by hour. Maybe revisit some of the music that sparked your interest. It may trigger something positive. Aside from that. Be good to yourself.

  4. Do you run the signal to you amp via the Aux?
  5. Cheers for this ead
  6. Thanks for posting. Sounds great
  7. Your right EBS freak. One of the QSC speakers on the FRFR thread has two inputs. And Di out. I’m thinking bass bone > QSC then Di to desk. Then Aux from desk to 2nd input for general mix?
  8. I know!
  9. Brilliant thanks
  10. Hi all. Im using my bas rig less and less. I’ve used my bass bone for several gigs now. Whilst some venue monitors are excellent others are hit and miss. I was wondering what you guys would consider to be the best floor monitor for bass?
  11. I’m in love again
  12. SWEET!!!! love the pick guard GLWTS
  13. Really sad to read about the death of this amazing artist. He’s compositions are truly beautiful.
  14. When I first looked at this I thought it said Gaviscon! 😳 This May help. My favourite way of finding anything. I typed ‘Galveston leadsheet’ into Google. Loads of images come up. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Galveston+lead+sheet&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=isnv&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjFxduo0JrZAhVTa8AKHVD7BUgQ_AUIESgB&biw=768&bih=922&dpr=2 I wonder if the manufacturers of Gaviscon have ever thought of using it for an add?
  15. Hello and welcome. Id say if your happy with the feel Of the bass, just pop in a new set of pickups. Sounds easy! This is where the fun starts. I’ve used Delano, Aguilar, Bartolini, Fender custom, and Lindy Fralin. I like them all. It takes a bit of research. The other option is to fit a new preamp. The John East preamps are excellent. Enjoy the search!

  18. What a variety of tastes and rigs. Mine: 74 Jazz, Zon Fretless NS Eub vanderkley cab mesa 800+ head Tbone preamp if using combination of basses simple light and effective IMO

  20. I personally think it’s really simple. Regardless of an individuals ability as a muso or professional standing. People like GG of which there are many. Indeed we’re almost seeing daily revelations of high profile individuals being exposed as inadequate . Along with them there are people in powerful positions in many walks of life who abuse their power. In the case of GG he used his power to meet his own deprived needs, disregarding the Life long impact on his victims. He’s ruined the lives of many people. I personally don’t get why people appear to accept or minimise the behaviour of famous people as less serious than any other inadequate individual who seeks out and exploits vulnerable people.
  21. No down side as long as your all happy. I wish I could find someone decent to take the ball ache out off getting gigs. It sounds Win Win. Well as long as the venues are decent
  22. The list of players is rediculous. 😀😀
  23. I was listening to 6 music earlier. This came on and it struck me that some bass lines are meant for synth bass. I don’t think even with a synth pedal you could accurately produce the feel of this
