1. Hi all, Up for grabs here is my Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 600 amp head and matching cabs (Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 4x10 and 2X15). Mine is one of the older and much rarer black faced amp heads rather than the silver faced heads more commonly seen. All is in great working condition, I still use this rig on a weekly basis and it has never let me down. The cabs have some wear and tear to the black vinyl covering but nothing excessive. This is an amazing rig, but it's far more than I need in terms of both size and performance. Links for more info here: http://www.hughes-an...=BassBase%20600 http://www.hughes-an...Base%20Cabinets And a nice German video about the amp: http://www.youtube.c...d&v=OGq3XaR6kWs As you can see from the pics, the head comes with a rack case and the cabs come with custom built covers. I'm also including the Bassbase stageboard for switching between EQ channels, activating FX loop etc and I'll also throw in a power cable and 2 speakon cables. Ideally I'd like to sell the lot in one go. From new this entire rig would have set you back about £3k, I'm looking for £1000 ono for the entire rig but I'd be happy to sell.trade any of these items separately. PM me if you're interested. I'd also be interested in trades or part exchange for either a smaller amp and cab set up or a nice high end bass. Item is located in Manchester in the Failsworth/Newton Heath area. If you can't collect, I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement. Thanks for your time, feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Burg

7. Went both nights, thought they were amazing! Slightly disappointed they played some of the same songs both nights but they played most of my fave songs over the 2 nights so can't grumble.
8. BUMP - still for sale. Open to offers for trades etc. before I put it on Ebay.
9. Got my tickets today! So excited I sh*t my pants.
10. Has anyone received their tickets yet? Bought mine from seetickets the day they went on sale. Both nights!
11. I think I can see my knees in this thread. Shame to hear you're getting rid of the Ibanez before you got it finished. I'd be interested in being kept updated in the restoration by whoever does buy it.
12. Cheers everyone. I've been monumentally bad at following stuff on Basschat recently. It was sound conditioning I was going for really. Council skips sound like a cheap option. Thanks for the advice.
13. Wasn't sure which forum to post this in so feel free to move it. My band are looking into doing up our jam room, seeing as our rent has bee bumped up recently. We're thinking of getting some carpet or fabric or something to plaster onto the walls to create a nicer, more homely vibe and hopefully provide a bit of sound dampening in the process. Currently the walls are bare breeze block. Cold and grim. Anyone any recommendations for where we could pick stuff up from on the cheap as we're on a limited budget. Cheers
14. I used flatwounds on my 5 string fretless and the B sounded lovely. If anything, the lack of brightness really brought out the low end. Not sure if anyone does nickel wound flatwounds though.
15. Here's the Soundcloud page for my band Phre the Eon. Manchester based Indie-Funk-Pop 3 piece. http://soundcloud.com/phre-the-eon Come and say hi.
16. I had a similar problem with the front pickup on my TRB-II 6 string. The screw kept coming loose. I stuck a bit of matchstick down there and that gave something for the screw to grip on to and it's been fine since.
