Il take them mate, providing your not in a rush to get rid, I can collect Xmas time Cheers
If they're still around by Xmas then you can have them, but I do need to get rid, so if anyone can take them off me sooner I'll have to give them priority.

Hi all, I'm moving house and so clearing out some stuff. I have a stack of old copies of Bass Guitar Magazine (roughly 30 or so issues), free to a good home, including the first issue featuring John Paul Jones on the cover. Postage I expect would be an absolute fortune and would prefer you to come and pick up from Warrington but if you're willing to shell out for postage it can be arranged. There are also a few old issues of Bass Player in the pile. That is all.

Hi all, hope someone can help with this. I went to practice a couple of weeks ago and my amd head wouldn't turn on. It was fine at the practice the week before and i've never had any problems in the past either. I checked the fuse and it had blown and have replaced with what I believe is the correct fuse but still no juice. Any advice? I'm running a Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 600, i've checked using different kettle leads into different sockets and still no joy. Could I have the wrong fuse? The manual says 5A SB (230V), i've tried a 5A time delay from Maplin but it says 250V on the fuse. I can't find any 230V fuses though and now i'm just completely confused as to what to do next. I've also checked inside the amp for loose connections or damage to internal fuses and there wasn't anything obvious that I could see. Help please, big gig on friday and I need my amp sorted before then!

I've got a TRBII-6er. I think the neck's quite easy to play compared with some other six strings i've played. Nice and flat and smooth with a decent string spacing.

I'm hoping to go again this year, missed last year but the year before was great, especially at £10 a ticket. £20 seems a lot but the acts seem a very high standard this time around.
I see what your saying, but id say 90% of bassists arnt going to want to buy a head thats going to mean they have to re-wire their cabs are they! Im definately interested in hearing one of these for myself.
Aye, that sounds like a right ballache.

I have a Hughes and Kettner Bassbase that chucks out about 650watts. Only used it live once and that was through one 8ohm speaker and it was loud enough, every other live gig i've done has been through a small combo provided by the venue. All the actual volume is being handled FOH and the bass amp is basically used for onstage monitoring. I do use a full rig in rehearsals though because I don't have any PA support and our drummer is very loud, but i've never found the need to go above 7ish on my master out.

I'm miffed about the 2X500watt thing as well. It's gives the same problem as the superfly did. The whole point is a lightweight portable rig. This is from the Ashdown website: "Just sling the amp over your shoulder, pick up a cabinet in one hand and your bass in the other – and you're on the way to the gig! " Nice idea, but it doesn't really work if you have to carry two cabs to the gig.

What the frig is going on with that headless? Lovin the new LX though, wooden pick up covers, so easy but so nice.

I've used four fingers on my right hand for a number of years now, believe it or not, because i'm too lazy to play with two fingers. It just seems to take a lot less effort to me. But I can actually play faster if I use fewer fingers.

Is it possible to slap on a Fender P-Bass?
Burg replied to Baseballfan1456's topic in Theory and Technique
You can slap on anything you like. The other night, I was slapping my girlfriend's ukelele (oo err). Sounded awful but it was physically possible. -

Cheers, It's a fantastic bit of kit, you can do absolutely loads with it. I've mainly used mine for recording and the different amp models really do make a difference. Plus there are some fantastic effects. If I didn't need the money I wouldn't be selling this, and if it doesn't go before I need the money by then i'll be keeping it. Going on Ebay very soon but i'm dropping my asking price for my fellow bass worlders. £100 + p&p
Hi Burg Were are you based and what condition is it in, manuals etc.
Hi, i'm based in Neston on the Wirral (North West England). Everything is in good condition and works perfectly well. I don't have it in front of me to check for certain, but i'm pretty sure it has no obvious scratches or other exterior damage on it either. Could send some pics if you'd like? I still have the original manual, power adapter and USB cable as well. Ta, Burg
