Thanks Burrito, It was a Sunburst,torty guard,maple neck with rosewood board, I suppose the only other thing was the strap button. I'm really clueless about Fenders and I've never really fancied one, till now, this one felt just right. I think it's probably the neck profile that was key here, were they all the same at that time or is there something about "H" that I need to be on the look out for. Thanks again, Pete.

Hey folks, I've recently tried a few P copy basses but hav'nt got on with them at all.......until today that is. My nephews band were using our rehearsal room today and I had a twonk on the guys bass. It's an H serial MIJ P Bass with the strap lock on the back of the headstock, that's a 62 ri is it then ?? I can safely say it was the nicest bass i've played. I'm no expert at all but it felt just right, even the neck wasn't too chunky for me which is something i've found on every P bass i've tried. Could the guys "In The Know" enlighten me if there's any particular reason this one did the trick. Were the necks a bit thinner that year perhaps ??? This Bass isn't for sale but if a similar one comes up for grabs what should I look for etc etc. Any help would be appreciated as I think i found my bass nirvana.

Hey all, I've decided to sell my Warwick 410 pro cab. A 210 combo is the way to go for me. I bought it of Nick Carey a couple of months back.It's seen 4 or 5 gigs in total and is in A1 perfect condition. No rips/dings or anything like that,all the corners are spot on and it sounds great. It's the 4ohm version and it's non tweeter. I'd like £220 for the cab but I'm looking for a decent 210 combo so will consider trades + $$$$$$ your way for the right one. Collected from Preston but I'm happy to travel to meet up within reason. Any viewing/trial welcomed, again it's a minter. Cheers.

Although I'm probably the worlds worst slap player i can get a very satisfactory "pop" on my jazzer with TI jazz flats if it helps.

Hey Folks. here's my Tokai Harpuncher for sale. I got this one of Ollie Mathews on here just before xmas. It's an Agathis body,see thru Blonde finish with matching headstock ,gold hardware and a 20 fret maple neck. It also sports Fender alnico p/ups. It has a brass Ibanez bridge fitted at the moment but the original one is here if you prefer it. The originial holes lined up perfect so no issues with extra holes. I also have the white pick guard that came with bass, again no issues with extra holes for the torty one.(very kindly donated from Homer I should add) Tone is pure "P" with some nice honky midrange from the maple neck,especially with rounds fitted. Thumps like a good un with Flats. It'll be shipped with a set of almost new Nickel rounds. Ollie had a pro set up done on the bass just before he let it go, the action is nice and low and it plays great. Comes with Hardcase and strap too. Absolutely zero issues here,it's perfect. £295 is what I paid shipped so that's the price I'll accept, £295 shipped to your door( UK ). No trades on this one guys thanks. Just add, I thought I'd have a foray into world of all things P but as it turns out I need the slimmer neck on the jazzer for my diddy hands
