1. Thanks for that.I found the demo and downloaded it i'm just struggling a bit with the sound config.pretty cool though eh.I just had the nicest motown sound i ever had whilst playing along the the isleys tell me it's just rumour.Pitty it's just a 10 day jobby though as i rather like it... a lot. It sounds a woopy though,i'll keep at it. cheers.
2. I'm clueless about software like so a little help please. Can you run this as a stand alone or is it a plug in whereby you need other software to run it ?? I have a fairly decent pcmcia sound card on the lappy with a mic/instrument input which i sometimes use for jamming along to music. If i got this software will it run on it's own,ie with the bass plugged into the sound card. Also could i then plug the lappy into a bass amp ?? Told you i was a dumbass hehe.

9.
The name was set in stone from the beginning............. "Jim's"
Perfect !
10. Hey Huggy, It's the pitch correction,de-esser,compressor one Here If you or you're singer is a little pitchy it sorts that out plus it nicely warms up your voice too. Set the eq flat on the board and let the pedal take care of your voice basically. Pretty cool.
11. Hey Folks. Cupboard clearout time.I have; [s]TC Helicon voicetone correct pedal,the pitch correct one,used once.Mint,Original box,instructions inc £110 posted [/s]SOLD Ta.

14. Cheers Mr Foxen. There aint nothin' i can do about the wood,it's ash (i think)and maple and thats it !! This sounds contradictory but the bass is growly, the only thing i can think of to describe the mids is that they're very erm...dark ??.It's strung with Sunbeams andi've tried a couple of different steel sets to brighten things up a bit but i dont like em.I'm thinking it's in the pup.
15. Hey folks. It's help me choose and active pickup time ....or possibly not !! I have a 1980 ibby Blazer,it's the one with the single bucker, great Bass btw.I've recently fitted an EMG bts control system for the Bass/Treble control with good results.I could do with a bit more growl in the mids though and as i'm an eternal tinkerer i'm wondering if i should change the Pup to an active one,a MM style one maybe.I realise the body will have to be routed slightly and that's not an issue.I could do with a bit more output and attack than i get from the passive pickup. So,whaddya reckon chaps,go for it..and with which pickup...... or am i talkin bollocks. Thanks in advance for your help.
16.
Alison Krause, "Let your loss be your lesson", will suit our singer to a tee....
What a cracker,if she sings like A K stick hold of her.Definitely my favourite female voice. As fir basslines,I'm twiddlin' along to I want you back, the David Ruffin version and Aint that good news from the Les Paul and friends album.

20. hey Josh, not too far from you mate,i'm in Hutton. If you went down Fishergate Hill and over the river and kept going for a couple of miles you'd be at mine. I heard about your Rays the other day, very nice they look too. On a side note if you ever get chance to see a local bassist called Norman Elm play,he's prety special. He plays in Free Parking,Pinto Beans and The Lee Warton Band amongst a few others. The LWB are on at the Mad Ferret or the one behind it (can't think what it's called atm)across from the Uni on the 7th Feb,worth a trip if get chance.
