hey all. My Ashdown mini rig amp has just died so ive no practise amp for home.Can i run a single 16 ohm speaker with my markbass amp ?? this ul keep me going for a few days till i can sort something else out. thanks in advance.

lovely stuff,my head was bobbin' from start to finish. kinda makes me wish i'd picked up the bass at 24 instead of 44. very enjoyable indeed.

OTOH many OEM drivers are junk.[/quote] The ones in the Hartke TP arent quuuuuiiiiiiiite junk but i had no second thoughts about my retro fit.I have 2 TP's and as they're fairly cheap i wasnt worried.I'd off had second thoughts if it was a more expensive cab though.

ive swapped out the hartkes in one of my TP 4x10s for celestions and its a vast improvement. its warmed up the cab a treat.

Bought an 8u rack of Lee this week.arrived next day and does what it says in the tin. Cheers lee.

"A cautionary tale" Last year i bought a fishman acoustic amp from the states.It clearly stated on the back "Dual Voltage".Of course when i plugged it in here it blew up.I asked my mate who's a printed circuit designer to have a gander and from the description on the back even he thought it was misleading.You have to swap to leads to the power supply to get the amp to work at 220v but it didnt state that in the instructions or on the back of the amp He contacted Fishman for me and explained what had happened and expressed suprise that a top flight company would label an electronic product so.Anyways they paid the shipping back to the States and sent me a replacement foc. Just make sure you get it checked out before you throw the switch

i just bought a rack case and rack tuner of james. He's at all times pleasant to deal with and my stuff arrived exactly when he said it would....the next day. cheers james,i'm made up.

thanks for that.I have an ashdown speaker rated at 16 ohm,the multi meter showed it at 12.the one in particular that i wanted to know about came out at 4.2,i think i'd better put it back away in the shed,hehe. thanks guys.
