  2. Hi Dude, I spoke with Phil about this deal via PM. To be honest I'm holding out for a sale as there's a Bass on here I want to buy. I'll leave it for a few more days to see what happens, if it doesn't sell then we might just pull this three way thing off. Could you sell the Genz in the NL,and buy the amp to do the trade with Phil for the Trace ??
  3. Buyer has pulled out so this is back up for sale folks.
  4. Thanks for the PM's Folks, Think we're sorted on this one. Thanks be to Basschat. Thanks Johngh, Pete.
  5. Hi Folks, Is there anyone out there who could possibly do a dep gig on the 4th August in Skipton. (just edited the location) It's a party/function bash type affair and the gig pays well. General well known pop type tunes. Please PM me for details if you or anyone you know can do it. This one's urgent guys, please help a brother out. Thanks.
  6. On Hold ...... I think, just waiting back for confirmation.

  8. Hi Phil, Thanks for the kind offer dude but I'm looking for something a bit more portable to be honest. Cheers and good luck with it, Pete.

  10. I Just want to post that I mooched on over to see Steve's band at the Hop Pocket tonight. What a fantastic gig, first class players to a man and very entertaining too. I'll also add that Steve is an absolute bloody gent ! It was great meeting up with you and having a chat. That 66 is to die for ! Have a safe journey home and thank you so much for the parting gift, it is very much appreciated. Cheers, Pete. Si, sorry to hijack your thread Bud.
  11. Something new,I spotted this on No Treble. Very nice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBy3oe6F__Q
  12. +1 for Anytune Pro HQ on the ipad. A little pricey as far as Apps go but well worth it I think.
  13. Have a great night at The Hop Pocket dude. They're a fantastic audience to play to, one day I might just fulfill a dream of mine and get to play there too. Hey Si, Hope all's well. Pete.
  14. Update re Soundslive and my GK Cab, I spoke to Martin yesterday. He gave me a sincere apology and he offered me a 10% discount (or refund if you like) on the cab. No hassles or arguments, here you go........ so a very good result for me. I also bought a TC Head from them a few weeks back, it wasn't for me so I returned it without any hassle either I always tend to use Soundslive for new gear and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
  15. Quality !! Nice track,Well done.
  16. Welcome aboard, It's nice to see our cousins from across the pond drop in to say Hi. Oh, and hows the weather, not too hot I hope.
  17. Absolutely gutted to see this. He was a lovely lovely man and oh so humble and always told of his gratitude for the music that life brought his way. He'll be deeply missed by all of us I'm sure, a Bass hero if ever there was one. Condolences to his loved ones.
  18. You're right. 1971 Express Yourself- Charles Wright & The watts 103rd street rhythm band. Kids these days eh ! Think they know everything. Yes, Damn you all, I was writing at fever pitch and still got beaten to it.
  19. To be fair Martin was very apologetic on the phone and he said he'd sort me out when I called back.
  20. I had this with Soundslive last week with a GK neo112. Box all taped up and the speaker lead in a jiffy bag I spoke to them about it and I have to call back this week. They did say I will get a partial refund If I decided to keep the cab. I'll update after I've called them.
  21. You're welcome Buddy, glad it's still working well for you. I was hoping to get my grubby mits on this last time it was on here but I was waiting for a sale price as I had nothing to trade. Now that it has a price on it's head I aint got the dosh, it's kiiling me haha !!
  22. Having just bought the MB TTE500 of here my Korg rack tuner is going to be twiddling its proverbials. The head doesn't have a tuner out or a mute switch so having spent a fortune (to me) on the amp I don't want anything to get in the signal path if I choose to go to a pedal tuner. So having no experience at all of an in-line tuner is the Polytune really "True Bypass" should I choose to buy one. Although the PW one is a great idea "I think" I'd rather use a pedal but not 100% sure which way to go yet.
  23. Would sooooo love this, the tone in that top video is bloody marvelous, the other one is nice too. Just blitzed all my spare $$$$$$'s on a new head today tho'. If not for that I'd be heading over to Yorkshire. Lovely thing.
