2. Sure man. Just PM me for an address etc glad you like it. First reply that isnt me BUMP!
3. Dear god that's sexy. What's the tone like? I'd imagine 'ray on steroids, nice and agressive/ballsy. Would be good to hear how it stacks up against a G&L ASAT. I really like it. Have a bump!
4. That's really lovely Si. Good luck with the sale. Buy with confidence people. As everyone probably knows Si is lovely to deal with.
5. I f***ing hate ikea, I never thought of any of this though. Genius!

14. I've always liked the 3001, If i hadnt just bought a new P-bass Id be on this. Bump for a nice bass
15. Cheers for the bump FlatEric. If you still have that next time I have disposable income I'm on it like a rash. I know a certain guitarist who would get very annoyed at me for aquireing it and its such a curious thing. I'd love to know how it stacks up against something with, well, a body Egg, Beans, Chips and a BUMP!
16. I've just got my hands on a 70 RI CIJ p bass in the same colours, I really hope mine goes this lovely yellowy shade eventually. I wish I hadn't seen the pics of the maple board. I'm so tempted! I think I need a hot pickup first though. It's a lovely bass mind. I just can't seem to put mine down
17. Just got Si's 70 RI CIJ Precision home. He really went out of his way for me, he offered to hold the bass while I drummed up the funds to buy it for a fair ammount of time (sorry ISA). He makes a mean coffee and is very knowledgeable. It's people like Si who make this forum the lovely place to wittle away hours of free time, exchange ideas/knowledge and buy and sell gear that it is. A true gent and a credit to the BC community. I just wish I'd left his wood and tronics where it was because the custom cogs are turning now! I would definatly deal with him again and looking forward to eventually picking his brains for custom build help and ideas. Top fella Cheers Si Love the bass by the way!

24.
Yeah I've heard good things about the VMJ, but everyone says the Classic Vibes are better for not that much more money. Thanks for the awesome video by the way - So far I'm lovin the 60s P and J basses. Not so much the 50s P, but its still cool. I prefer the look of the 60s P aswell, I like the way the pickguard curves around the body at the bottom, and I prefer the colour. I really hate the patterned pickguard on the jazz, but I guess it could be changed.
Tortoise Shell is the word your looking for I personally love a tortie, each to their own though. I have love for the whole series to be honest, If i wasn't a Fender snob I reckon I could make do with the 60s p and the j for the rest of my life easy.
25. Theres a vintage modified 70s style jazz too which is a pretty awesome bass. Id have either of the Ps in a second. check this out by the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6Cd98DH__U
