1. Its out today. Help a brother out?
2. Hey guys, Just thought Id let you know that my bands record is finally out. You can get hard copies from play, amazon, adsa, tesco, WHsmiths online, or if your a Downloader its on itunes. either way its pretty cheap and Id love some feedback (on the songs, not my playing).
3. The first expensive bass I ever bought was a Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5. What a hateful waste of money and time that was. I've never spent, nore do i ever intend to spend anything like that money before or since. I reckon its just GAS. You want a new bass but you cant quite justify another 4 so you're thinking about a 5. Take my advice, get a 4.
4. Any idea what the preamp problem could be if there is one? I'm currently bidding on one on eBay. If it goes for any more than this I'll snap it up given that the preamp is ok
5. Honestly don't care what condition a new bass is in or weather or not it is new. It's all about sound and feel. That's an end of it in my opinion.
6. I have a 4string se98. These are amazing basses. Best superjazz I've ever played.
7. How's the exchange rate and what would postage be to the mainland?
8. The only things I have to offer that fit the criteria are a grabber or a T-40
9. What are you after for the rd artist?
10. Dude. Hit me with a spec list in lamans terms. I have an sb elite 2 that I love. From what I can see this is a black sb 1000 without the parallel neck?
11. If like me you like to rock out get a di marzio clip lock strap. No nonsense just security
12. I'd go down the shuker route too. Maybe get an extra j pickup in the bridge.
13.
AND?? small list of examples follows: INSTRUMENTS WHAT LOOK LIKE A BIT LIKE A JAZZ / PRECISION BASS: ESP FERNANDEZ LAKLAND PEAVEY YAMAHA IBANEZ PENSA SUHR JACKSON CHARVEL SQUIER (LICENSED COPY) AND LOADS MORE....
might I point out that the reason most things look a bit like a fender is because they are very balanced and playable, the reason basses don't look like les pauls is IMO because les pauls play like tea crates, are ridiculously heavey and when sporting a 34" scale tend to be very neck heavy.
14. Just realised I didn't say anything about the 1000. I love it! You really can't go wrong with matsumoko build quality and the tone and playability is to die for. It's a real shame that the "lesser", for want of a better word arias and other matsumoko instruments don't get as much attention as the SB 1000.
15. I have an SB II elite (basically a 900) which I adore. I was very jealous of a guy I was in college with who had a 700 that I loved. Now that we're on the subject. What's the difference between the elite and the 900? The only obvious difference I can see is the finishes.
16. Dear Sterling Ball, please stop f***ing about with the classics. You have the stingray, no one needs any more. Yours sincerely Ash Cocco
17. I found pics of the bass. I have to say I like it and the price is very reasonable. I just wish it had eb-3 sort of circuitry with a pickup switch and vol and tone for each pickup. And some F holes wouldn't go a miss, nore would a trapeze bridge. What was the balance like?it looks head heavy
18. Yeah I did google but I was more after an honest review if I'm honest.
19. So I was in my local music shop the other day and I noticed a wall full of what appeared to be gretsch White falcons and town and countries and everything in between "crikey" I thought. So I went for a look. Upon closer inspection they were not gretsch at all. They were branded "peerless" and I could not believe how well made they were. Definatly on a par with any of the ibanez and epiphone hollow bodies, every one of them was sporting a real bigsby and was beautifully made. I'm just wondering if a they make basses and b if they are as good as they look. I've long gassed for a hollow body but never seen an eb2 I could afford and there's something about the ibanez ones I don't like the look of.
20. Does she have a case?

Yeah it's lovely. I'm tempted but I'm holding out for a thunder 2. The temptation is 100% there though.
22. I'd like to see them too. They look lovely. I just think they miss the point a bit.
23. The original needed no improving! I'd love a ripper mind. The grabber definatly has it's place in my heart and deserves it's place in the hall of fame, not as an alternative to a p but of it's own accord, the early greenday records have awesome bass tone and were recorded on a grabber, ed from thrice works magic with his too. Never under estimate the power of the grabber

I do like a nice bolt on mind. It's a cool looking bass, and a short scale. I'm suffering terrible matsumoku gas at the moment so westones and arias are pretty high on the list. Is the trem on yours an addition?
