1.
Very nice! What's custom about the build? Compared to their stock 'Human Nature' builds. Si
Love this. The black hardware really sets it off.
 2. Any trades?
 3. These are great basses! I nearly bought a mystic once, but something put me off last minute. I love the look of them. They remind me of the S.D. Curlee basses from back in the day
 4.
Black for me
I think black too. It looks nice against the finger board. If it was maple the pearl one would look lovely,
 5.
Speaking of which ... INCOMING!
mirror ball bass! I love it. very disco Stu
 6.
Nor me cocco, but it's time for some consolidation, and this is simply an ornament in my house now (albeit a very lovely ornament), never gets played... If I'm honest though, I won't really be gutted if it doesn't sell..but don't tell anyone.. I'm kinda torn between selling this or my 2012 sunburst Roadworn P..
Do you still have the attitude?
 7. Sh*t this is tempting. Year of birth and packing super ferrite.
 8. Mine hasn't missed a beat since I got it to be honest. It came with super low action and too light of a gauge string for me but they are drops in the ocean when considering how good it sounds, feels and plays. I'd order another one in a heart beat. I've seen a Jake with T-bird pickups that looks pretty dangerous
 9. That's really nice. I love the Talman shape, it's got a surfiness about it. I reckon this is gonna cause the VM jag shorty a few problems at this price.
 10.
Ok, it's here, not doing an NBD yet as it wouldn't be fair. It seems to have arrived with a bit of a back bow as it's choking like crazy and buzzing like an angry bee, and the action is way too low but the bridge Saddles seem ok. So, I need to figure out the whole truss rod thing. If its a bottom of neck truss rod which way do you turn it to raise the strings? First pickup test is good but difficult to say for sure cos of the buzzing.
Mine was the same. ridiculously low action out of the box. my truss rod took 1/4 turn tighter and it was instantly better. I also scrapped the original lighter than light strings after about a week
 11. I have the SR605. It's a lovely thing. Super easy to play, action out of the box is amazing. Piano like tone, very even across all strings and the length of the fretboard. It really bats out of its league. It's incredibly comfortable to wear aswell.
 12.
after much deliberation I went for haussel pick ups..
I can't tell you how great it sounds then. But I can tell you the Jazzbucker on its own is very useable
 13.
Another... Sofa pic from the latest batch..I have been looking at this thread for weeks waiting for mine to be ready.. Just seemed the right thing to do to share
Love it! Did you go for the Maruszczyk pickups?
 14.
Some of these are looking really nice, especially the all black ones. So what is the deal with this builder? Those showroom pics are insane, does he have the body/neck mass produced, buys them in and customises them to spec?
Nope, all built from scratch. Hes just really good and very fairly priced
 15.
It's going to be a loooong week.
It's even worse when you miss delivery and your neighbour refuses to sign for it.
 16.
Great minds, eh?
Great minds indeed. I bet you can't wait for it to turn up.
 17.
SOFA SHOT MOFOS!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS. It's a good week for basses in the Baker household.
Wow. It's like my bass' even more evil twin. Nice to see another black out Maruszczyk too!
 18. dammit! I really want a 4 string version
 19. The M2000 is a monster, but the L is worth looking at too, I played both and left with the L
