1.
That's the one! - No doubt the Sandberg is a great Bass, but just for a laugh I only took a P Bass to my gigs last weekend, and had no trouble at all! So I thought, you know what, lets get a really nice Jazz and that'll be fine! Therefore my Sandberg VM5 and Musicman SUB 5 are now up for sale, in the for sale section! Will it ever end? I hope not!!!!
Ahhhhhh i'd love to relieve you of the SUB.
2. If it wasn't for my recent unpronounceable purchase I'd be all over this
3.
Thanks Gents - I'm really happy with it - Now for the 5-string clearout! Turns out I don't need the B string after all......
Is that the Sandberg who's praises you were singing?
4. Jesus, these are gorgeous! Not sure I'd be able to part ways.
5. Gorgeous bass, congrats Lew!
6.
Great, thanks! Are they suede type of fabric on the back? All leather ones I've had in the past tend to slip a bit.
Mine isnt. It's matte on the front and shiny on the back. I have no slip issues at all, the bass balances pretty perfectly. I'd go as far as to say I prefer it to my Comfort Strapp. The leather is nice and tough too, once its over the strap button it aint going anywhere, it did take some convincing to get over in the first place though
7.
What strap model is the one included with the bass, please?
Mine was the PES35 aswell
8. Excuse my ignorance. What's a B Neck?
9. Tort for sure, gold would be better if it was a 2 colour burst.
10. I'm incredibly tempted to enquire about an ebony Mensinger preacher (Les Paul) bass.
11. That really is something special.
12.

These are spectacular.
13.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooo! What is that??
Its a Maruszczyk Jake with a couple of custom options, namely the black hardware, reversed headstock and black painted neck. It's a beauty isn't it?
14. Just taken delivery of this beauty. Black enough?
15.
I have used my Lakland BG almost exclusively to gig for the last 5 years never found anything that came close no matter what i tried , have to say bought one of these as stock off the website so good not used the Lakland since and have just bought WOT's White Jake as well. These are amazing basses at the price point quality of build, attention to detail and the hardware is superb to get this quality elsewhere i suggest you would pay a substantially higher price. i'm aware everything is subjective but i'd be suprised if anyone ordering one of these basses either stock or as a custom build was disapointed Cheers Steve
I'm in excatly the same boat with mine. So much so I think I'm going to sell my BG.
16. I've just taken delivery of a beautiful Maruszczyk. Lead time is only about 12 weeks aswell. And as has already been said anything you want is possible!
17. It's really not.
18. Mine is home. Far exceeding my expectations to be honest. It's an absolute monster! Plays like a dream. Looks incredible, even if the wife doesn't understand why it has a reversed headstock. Never been happier, just can't wait for practice now. Roll on Monday!
19. Gob smacked. What a beauty. I should get mine tomorrow, all being well.
20.
My Haussel-laden PJ is warm and vintagey, exactly as Adrian said it would be. My Maruszczyk-wearing Oly (which has just been put in a postbox, on its way to its lucky new owner) is hotter and more aggressive. And the bridge humbucker burps like a monster.
Glad I went for the Maruszczyk pickups in that case In other news I've missed my delivery. hopefully I can pick it up from the depot tonight
21.
Still waiting, God I'm impatient. Can't wait for mine, it is at least out for delivery though!
At least you're home to receive it! Hoping to god they leave mine with a neighbor.
