1. I've ammended my order. It's now going to have a reverse headstock
2. I'd love for my Maruszczyk to turn up early. Can't see it happening though. February seems a long way off right now.
3. I'll have an addition in Feb watch this space
4. I've got GAS for a les Paul bass at the moment. Never played one though.
5.
Just going to leave this here........ BIT excited!! Si
Mate that is amazing!
6. Rickenbackers are Marmite basses. Play one and see what you think. I'd probably go for an S over the standard one. I much prefer the dot inlays and the body chamfer.
7.
Hey hey hey It's the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in the house and make a video Caveats: The strings are fresh-out-of-the-packet flats, so they're zingy as hell (yeuch!), the whole thing was done in a hurry, and I still don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to recording and mixing my own bass. Apart form that.. errr.. it's OK. I'll do a video with rounds when I get a chance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFM3h7JaPvk
Awesome playing and a great sounding bass. I'm so impatient to get mine
8. So this isn't happening anymore, turns out someone else bought it earlier in the day. I have pulled the trigger on a black as you like maruszcyzk though
9. Trigger also pulled! I've ordered a passive Jake with the Jazzbucker in the bridge, their own pickups. Black body, black single ply pickguard, black hardware, matched headstock, ebony board with no front markers and deleted the model decal off the headstock, so it just has the round logo. I'm hoping to get a none more black, fire breathing rock machine out of it
10. I'm working out the details on one too 10 week lead time at the moment isn't too bad.
11.
Very hot..!
Good times, I'm thinking about ordering the redburst with black hardware one, or the same thing but all black
12. I love the look of these. What's the output of them like? Are they fairly hot?
13. Taken from Thomann, but how good does this thing look?
14.
Probably paid what it would be for the pickups alone.... Very well done! pics are in order, I believe
It's supposed to be here Tuesday. I'm waiting with baited breath! I've never had an ESP, a P/J or EMG pickups before so there's a lot of new things in there. Also its entirely black which is something I've wanted for a while.
15. Just scored an LTD FB-4 from andertons for a little under half price. It's Frank Bello from Anthrax's signature model. Pretty much an entirely black precision, with an EMGX PJ set. It should be here on Tuesday. I'm pretty excited to see it. It's a complete on a whim purchase. I've never even seen one in the flesh before, but it ticks a lot of boxes. Wish me luck. Anyone have any experience with the model?
16. I loved my 4 string T-bass, that's not the most attractive thing I've ever seen but I bet it plays like a dream.
17. I've had a lot of Fender precision's come and go, but I still have my 1980 blazer, its on the never sell list.
18. Thats gorgeous! good purchase
19. I've only had one graphite necked bass and I couldn't get on with it. I see the attraction but I do prefer wood
20. Played one of these at the bass gallery last month, beautiful bass!
21. such a cool bass!
22. cocco
