SOLD

A very useable bass for well under £100! Amazing, especially if you're a JJ Burnell fan!
2. To me this will always be the Fat Mike bass. I love it!
3.
Second to none? I went shopping last weekend, the £1050 DJ5 was nice but the wiring was trapped under the control plate.... The £2100 usa 55-14 had a very poor finish when inspected with a few flaws and sanding marks etc Which resulted with my cash going here, flawless finish and a great B string! All that said I'd still rather buy a Lakland blind than a Fender even a USA like mine, lol
Well mine is cracking
4. Defiantly an ibanez!
5. Well, my skyline Bob Glaub feels better than the current US fenders do IMHO. It's hard to argue with the hardware, hipshot ultralites and a really sturdy if slightly odd shaped bridge are standard fair. The fit and finish is second to none and if you get an older one you also get Lindy Fralin pickups.
6. I know a little, they are mahogany bodied, most Jazzes are alder or ash. I've seen 2 for sale ever, one black and an even rarer (on these shores anyway) Antoria branded white eagle , neither were perfect and both were over £600, the cut out in the headstock tends to be weak.
7. Bought one of Johns wiring harnesses, cracking bloke and an easy transaction. My old Blazer has a new lease of life now too.
8. I may be interested in this, would you consider meeting at a mutually convenient location?
9. They are heavy, but its nothing a wide strap can't cope with. Plus you forgive the a weight as soon as it makes a sound.

G&L L-2000

I have G&L gas ATM. The question is L series or M series.
11.
One of the things I enjoy the most about my T40 is the dynamic response it has. The amount by which sound and attack change depending on where you pick/pluck and how hard you do it is exceptional. The amount of smoothness and growl available on the same settings is the best of all the basses I have ever played. The nasal growl of the double humbucker fully closed, played really hard close to the neck is like a roaring tiger at the bottom of a large cave
I notice this too. I can go from mellow reggae tones to aggressive tones without touching any settings, just a change of position and sometimes a pick.
12. Of the list the L2500, but play the M2500 too.
13. Sounds awesome!
14. PM'd
15. I have a Bob Glaub that I'd trade for this, alas rosewood boarded
16. Man this is gorge!
17. Love this bass, don't fancy a Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub do you?
18. I think these basses look incredible! Does anyone have a Stealth finished bass? I'm just wondering how durable they are. A friend had a matt black kramer explorer when we were in school (it was tge early 2000s and nu metal was big) and the finish went shiny after a while.
19. I wish this had frets, or I could play fretless. Love these old ibanez'
20. What would you recommend King Prawn?
21. Love this bass. Want this bass. No Money.
22. This is awesome! Is it wired as a full time humbucker?
23. I'd love one of these.
