I've messaged Jaydee in the hope of a response that's a great story Big Stu. What are the electronics like? Is it a good bass to live with?

I've found a picture of a guitar this shape.

I see no mention of basses on the site. I'd love to get my hands on one, the SG shape particularly. Anyone got one they're bored of?

Are they still being made? Anyone for any experience of them?

Are they 1/4 pounders? The poles look small.

I'm going to take delivery of a Lakland Bob Glaub in the next week or so hopefully. Excited to see how that stacks up against others I've played.

My money no object dream P bass is the Pino. What makes a P? To me it's got to be passive, single (split p) pickup, p shaped and a big old neck. Others won't agree with me and they are entitled to their opinion, not saying mine is right but for me there's only one way to skin a cat. It depends on budget though, as we know you can get yourself a fantastic P bass for under £500

Stick a new pickup in it.

I'd get a BB414. There's something about a passive BB tone

Check the intonation once you've installed it though, get the action where you want it, tune the bass and fine tune 5, 7, 9 and 12 with the screws on the back of the bridge.
