Gone

That's amazing, depending on how I get on with my incoming bob glaub I'm gonna get one of these
2. I'm going to take delivery of a Lakland Bob Glaub in the next week or so hopefully. Excited to see how that stacks up against others I've played.
3. My money no object dream P bass is the Pino. What makes a P? To me it's got to be passive, single (split p) pickup, p shaped and a big old neck. Others won't agree with me and they are entitled to their opinion, not saying mine is right but for me there's only one way to skin a cat. It depends on budget though, as we know you can get yourself a fantastic P bass for under £500
4. Stick a new pickup in it.
5. Balls, missed the withdrawn bit.
6. Is this bass pretty original?
7. No problem, it's sort of flea ish in design, graphite neck, 2 Hot j pickups, she's a funk machine!
8. Fancy a graphite necked status energy?
9. Loving the legacy
10. I'd get a BB414. There's something about a passive BB tone
11. Lovely looking bass.
12. Surely this is a steal? I'd be biting your arm off apart from those chilli pepper inlays
13. Check the intonation once you've installed it though, get the action where you want it, tune the bass and fine tune 5, 7, 9 and 12 with the screws on the back of the bridge.
14.
cos it's a P bass- the general opinion is that high mass on jazz yes, on Precision no as it softens the perceived attack (thump)
I have a Gotoh 201 on my P and it sounds great. Hasn't tightened up the attack too much and it's nice and stable (bomb proof infact). That said I wouldn't ever put anything like a Schaller 2000 series or a Badass II on a p.
15. That's not an SB900, it's an SB II elite. The difference is in the neck profile, the string spacing, the inlays and the gold hardware, the electronics are the same though, and they do look similar so the confusion is understandable, Aria built the elites and the SB-R with a more familiar feeling neck in a bid to conquer America I think. I'm sure someone knows more than me. Was it sold to you as an SB-900?
16. Awwwww sh*t son!
17. Gibson in new bass pickup design shocker! Saying that I suppose they could be just chromed up T-bird ones. Either way I like it. Black for me please
18. That's an SB II elite
19. Aside from a ding on the underside, not where you can see or feel it, it's perfect. And no truss rod
20. Damn that's a nice bass at a great price. Looks like a rock/blues machine
21. They are gorgeous. I'd love a thunder 2. Congrats on them.
