  1. Brimful of Asha - Cornershop
  2. I scored this SR1200 recently. What a great sounding and playing instrument.
  3. This is lovely.
  4. Leggy Blonde (Flight of the Conchords)
  5. WD music is usually a good shout for custom pickguards.
  6. Speed music in Cardiff had an Overwater original (T-bird kinda shape) for £500 in the early 2000's. Really wish I'd bought that.
  7. To resurrect this thread. I'd be game if it happens.
  8. Same sentiment here. Good luck with the sale. What a beautiful SR
  9. Just spotted the 5 string version on facebook for £450
  10. Hi Joel, Lovely looking bass, The SRX 750 is a 2008 only model, I think it's basically the same as the SRX700 series but with the nice figured wood top. While there aren't many around, and prices are notoriously difficult to quantify, I wouldn't imagine it would go for more than £500.
  11. These look great for the money, well, for any money. Especially up against that Fender rig.
  12. I'd agree with this too. They feel much smaller and more comfortable than Fenders, but without looking a million miles away.
  13. This is a ridiculous bargain.
  14. Wow that's some colour
  15. That looks great to me. As long as she's big enough to play a 34" bass and likes the aesthetic it'll be a great beginner instrument.
  16. Another vote for cool. There's something about a P/J with a pointy headstock. Kramer forum, ESP Horizon, whatever the Jackson/Charvel ones were called. All chefs kiss classics.
  17. Lovely
  18. Looks lovely, it has a kind of SD Curlee vibe now.
  19. P/Jazzbucker is a great pickup configuration in my opinion. I have it in my Maruszsczyk and it sings. I imagine two of them is the sonic equivalent of a sledge hammer?
  20. You'd think they'd know better than to use the most flawed bridge design in history.
  21. I got a second hand TT4 passive recently. I've had Jazzes and Jazz adjacents before and always moved them on for one reason or another. I was looking for a J type equivalent to my Maruszsczyk Jake. This is easily the best example of a Jazz I've ever had. The body shape is much more ergonomic without looking out of proportion like the Lakland DJ, the balance is impeccable. Mine has the black label pickups which I really like, they have all the attitude in the world if you play them hard but mellow out nicely when played softly. Fit and finish seem basically perfect. I really like the flatter profile fingerboard. It feels really solid too, also the quality of the in house hardware is amazing. The machine heads feel incredibly smooth. Long story short, I think it's a keeper.
  22. Interesting! Do you remember who you traded it to? This one has a 2020 serial number and I bought it off a guy called Mark in Nuneaton.
  23. This is gold.
  24. Hey everyone, I got my first Sandberg yesterday, I'd been looking for a passive jazz with a flattish finger board radius and this came up on eBay. It's a California TT passive in matt black with blocks and an off white scratch plate, actual matt black rather than the black stained natural on the configurator. After a moment of thinking the bridge pickup was broken, I turned all the controls right up, not realising that they were vol, blend, tone, I'm blown away by how good it is. It feels incredibly well put together and has the burp and clang that I wanted from a Jazz type instrument. Also it's much more comfortable than the traditional Jazz shape.
