1.
Wouldn't there be an issue with the red silk possibly passing the nut ? Sounds kinky.
Both mine are on roto and have been for ever, no silky issues at all
2. I'd like to know what they were aiming for sound wise.
3. Has anyone tried a 40 on flats? If so what was the result and which flats did you try? I've always had mine on rotos and I fancy a change.
4.
Although there is always room in the list (and in my heart) for my beloved Caerdydd, I do not see (unless I am mistaken) any bass pickups. I tried to limit my list to bass pickup manufacturers only, otherwise the list would be a little longer. Thanks anyway.
They definately exist! I had a set of hot and dangerous Jazz bass custom wounds in my old CIJ.
5. I don't have anything of similar value to offer.... Or £350
6. Year of birth BB! What kind of trades are you into?
7. I have two T-40's which I adore, incase anyone had forgotten/didn't know.
8. And another, hand wound in Cardiff. www.shedpickups.com
9. I love this, if only I had some use for it.
10. You'd be hard pushed to find the pickups for much less. Bargain of the century IMO!
11. Well I think it's fair to say their strats are geared for metal, they have Floyd rose locking trems and those crazy little Duncan mini buckers in them. I think it is fair to say that brands and genres don't correlate too much. Maybe some guitars are just more versatile than others? Strats, Teles, Les Pauls and SGs spring to mind here. But you don't see too much metal being played on things like 335s, Jags or Jazz Masters.
12. I bet this is an animal!
13.
Cocco - What are model P's ? The ibanez is here.... its a CT1 ...budget bass type thing....bought for my 19th birthday if I recall. I don't know much about it so if your an ibanez font of knowledge I'd be pleased for some info
Di Marzio model p, the greatest pickups ever made
14. Double P is the ultimate pickup config for me. I'd swap them out for a set of model Ps and never look back.
I always thought it was a Cort, but you can't really argue with that Fender Prophecy picture.
It's Fender Japan so it probably is a Cort.
17. Are you strictly looking for a jazz trade?
18. Don't fancy trading for a graphite energy do you?

There isn't a head stock logo, maybe it's a custom build? Or a home made?
20. Use photo bucket and just copy the img code into your post.
21. Looks amazing, I'd buy it if it sounded good.
22.
I must say, a T-40 into an Orange AD200B sounds amazing. And you've got two of em!
It's an amazing sound, there's no other word for it, although to my ears the blade is better than the toaster.
23. Mmmmmmmm...... Stacker
