1. Are these the Duff McKagen looking ones with the pointy headstock?
2. Dayyyyyum, one of my dream basses! Wish I had some cash.
3. No probs, just out of interest have you ever played a vette $$? Is there much of a sound difference in the two?
4. Believe me you defiantly want the mods. These things have a growl all of their own but the original pickup and crappy bridge let them down a bit.
5. Dammit! This is exactly what I was after in exchange for my P
6. Used to be mine type bump.
7. Thanks buddy . bump for Warwick trades. Especially a $$.
8. f*** me that's a cool looking bass. Fancy a nice P?
9. So I have two P-basses ATM and every time I go anywhere near them I end up picking up my T-40. With that in mind I don't see the point in keeping two. This one is a 50s classic in black, modified with a black scratch plate, chrome pickup and bridge covers and a Duncan SPB-3. It has two small dings, one in the forearm contour (you can't feel it when playing) and one on the lower part of the neck pocket (again un-noticeable). It has that big ole 50s baseball bat neck, sustain for weeks and a nice action. For trades I'd consider pretty much anything apart from other fenders, 80s ibanez/japtastics, maybe a corvette $$, a Jazz with a P neck. Anything with two P pickups, maybe an early BC Rich NJ. Probably no 5 or 6 strings though. More pics later. Straight sale price £470
10. Tempted by this. I have Warwick GAS ATM, I dunno weather I want a 'vette or a thumb though.
11. My old Streamer S1 5 string. Really didnt get on with it because of the broad neck. I have thumb GAS ATM though.
12.
Dunno, that whole '20% bigger than a T-bird' thing means they must be pretty massive in the body. The natural one on the BD site is very very nice, tho.
Apparently it's a thinner body though. I reckon it would feel smaller over all.
13. It's a fecking great track though. Hip hop has some awesome bass lines. I know they're mostly sampled but hey, atleast they had taste.
14. Hi everyone, since leaving my band earlier this year I have become bored and I miss playing. I am not looking for anything serious again, I do not want to take the world by storm or even take the band too seriously. I don't want fast cars and fast women. I just want to have some fun, I don't care weather it's covers or not. Hit me with anything. Ash
15. Orange AD200 and OBC 8x10 is the only rig I own. What's that about £2000? I tend to gig cheap but good basses though, normally a T-40 and a mex P bass. The 40 is the main stay mind. If they ever push the button there will be only cock roaches and T-40s left.
16. That's a bit special.
17. So I have a few days off work and I spent yesterday reliving my youth on YouTube watching videos by bands like Mudvayne, Limp Bizkit, Korn to name but a few. With Mudvayne and Limp Bizkit especially both bass players are pretty good technical players and both play 5 strings but neither use the low string at all really, which begs the question what is the point?
18. I'd love to get my hands on a ripper.
19. It's a ripper. The grabber has a flying V style headstock.

New Bass!

Yes I do. But I dont do active basses. I think I'll wait for a nice passive one

New Bass!

I've long been a fan of non conventional shapes. The iceman is one of my favourites. Imagine the result though? Im assuming this is mostly mahogany?
