1. It's not even a 4 pinter, its disgusting, Although a squier supersonic bass would be amazing, with a p neck and twin Di Marzio model ps....... I've messed myself.
2. I had the later one. It was the biggest pain in the arse ever. It used to eat valves and melt valve sockets and no one liked working on it, but what a tone!
3. I love that! In my opinion though it would benefit aesthetically from having a full size headstock a la ripper.
4. So I've just bought a mighty mite replacement neck for a precision project that I'm undertaking but it needs it's mounting holes drilled for the body and also the tuner mounts. Does anyone know the best way to mark up for these? Should I even bother doing it myself or just take it to someone who knows what they're doing? I have access to a pillar drill by the way.
5.
Word is that he rewound them himself, so hard to say what an off-the-shelf equivalent would be. He seems to be a compulsive gear-tinkerer, always sounds amazing though. If you're chasing his tone, I'd say the clean/dirty/filthy multiple amp setup would get you closer than pickup swapping though!
I agree completely! I already have an AD200, 8x10, modded Marshall Guv', and a sansamp so the dirt/filth isn't an issue. I just want a jazz that has evil in it.
6. I'd get a second hand Yamaha rbx or ibanez SR, well no I wouldn't, I'd buy a p bass but I think you should get a yam or an ibanez!
7. Is it the orange one?
8. That's cool!
9. That's amazing!
10. Wrong forum
11. To the top!
12. You wouldn't want to sell it though, anyway, back to the jazz, what pickups would people recommend? Apparently Tim modded these himself.
13. All you'd have to do is take the p/g off!
14. I wouldn't know where to start but that looks awesome! Saddened to see the reason for sale though.
15. Just wondering if anyone has built a replica of Timmy C's Natural jazz with the P neck, no scratch plate and odd pickup covers? I've recently caught the build bug. A replica of that jazz might be next on the list.
16. That's a sweet looking Warwick
17. She's light, my guess is between 7-8 lbs.
18. I wish I could afford this
19. Back up for sale. Any interest in this old beauty? I may trade for the right bass
20. I wish the P came in black
