1.
Does anyone fancy selling they're ad200? ;0)
Ermmmm no. I still have the 6550s it came with, I know im due a re valve soon though and wondered if the KT88s would change the tone at all? I know the Matamp GT200 comes with KT88s in it and is quite a similar amp, to look at any way.
2. Obviously no one does...
3. When I picked up my first 8x10 the owner pulled it out of a micra!
4. Does anyone run KT88s in an AD200? Does it make much of a difference?
5. I'd love a 3001
6. I'm intrigued by these too. One p/u per string must be pretty interesting.
7. cocco

Sold.

Wouldn't fancy a 51 RI p-bass?
8. Nah mate, AD 200 and OBC8x10. Having owned both I know which I prefer
9. I almost agree, you need an 8x10 IMO
10. There are loads of hot rod P's around at the moment! This is my fave though
11. that is rather nice! well done mark
12. are these true humbuckers or split coils under chrome? obviously they look like humbuckers but the exposed pole pieces make me ask.
13.
Like this?
Yeah something like that. I was thinking more along the lines of what Gust0o says though, Double Model P's absolutely kill! I'd love a blacktop jazz if they were made properly and had un varnished maple chunky P-bass necks!
14. I'd go double P
15. I'd buy a mustang.
16. Good lord!
17. I like the charcoal colour.
18. Ive dropped Rich a message based purely on how good this looks.
19. I had a similar P bass moment at the studio last week. I've owned various P basses in my time, a US 78, a 70s CIJ and a 51 and found them all missing something in a live situation. BUT at the studio I played a mexican 50s P and I loved it. I don't think it will replace my T-40 live but I was blown away by the recorded tone. The balance was off on this particular one though with the body being too light.
20. thats a really nice looking bass, it must have been a blast to build it yourself too. I'd like to do the course at some point.
21.
why didn't you stop them!?
If I had my time again....
22. Why don't you just get a custom T-bird with the looks but not the tone?
23. If you want to put it back to standard and sell the mods I'd be interested in them
